I wanted to see the Holiday Lights-Garden and Mansion there; even though, it was no longer Christmas season & past Christmas. Despite the rainy weather and experiencing pain walking, it was wonderful to walk through the Christmas lights. It was $30 for an adult ticket. Was it worth it? Yes. Just make sure to still be prepared for crowds even after the holidays if you want to see the Christmas lights. We saw a wedding proposal on a bridge. There was walking traffic on the grounds until it started raining. We went to the mansion during some of the time of heavy rain pour. The mansion was showcasing a gallery of illustrations of The Adams Family, paintings, and vintage photos of famous Hollywood celebrities. It was festively decorated for Christmas and was a joy to wander through. It was very crowded in the area with The Adams Family illustrations gallery. I took a lot of videos of the holiday light displays in the rain and tried seeing every part of Cheekwood that night. When we went back to our car, we were given a golf cart ride back to our car to avoid the long walk back to our car by Troy.

It's smack dab in the middle of centennial Park, which itself is really beautiful. So many people enjoying it. As you walk around the Parthenon, it's really crazy to think how this is a exact replica of the real one. It's really beautiful on all sides. There is an entrance on the bottom area not facing parking lot. It was hard for us to find the entrance. It was $15 a piece for us to go inside. There is a museum to check out with the information on the Parthenon and how this one here in Nashville came about. We also had an art gallery within the museum. When you go upstairs and you are met with this huge replica of the goddess Athena. Absolutely beautiful and it's huge off to another room. There are also replicas of more statues within the Parthenon that were casted for the Parthenon in Nashville, if you're in the area, I would definitely suggest you stop by. Even if you're not able to go in during the museum hours, the outside is still really great in the park is worth visiting.

The three performers were really fun to listen to as they filled in the story to their careers, their many music contributions, their interactions with music icons, and the challenges to working in the hectic world of professional musicmaking. The three performers were seated in the center of the room with patrons circled about. You could see and hear them very well. We did the mansion tour with Samantha and she was great. All the artifacts and original furniture were beautiful to see (especially after you find out how much work has gone into re-buying them over the last decades). The backyard games area is a fun extra attraction and the addition of the winery really rounds out the experience. We enjoyed watching the horses roll in the dirt and all the greenery in general. The tour and grounds do a good job of acknowledging the enslaved people who made Belle Meade a success and the terrible conditions they lived in during both the ante and post bellum periods. It was a self-guided tour and you were able to take pictures inside, which was really great considering a lot of the other historic homes that we visited while in Nashville would not allow you to. There is something for everyone. From shops and distilleries to restaurants a winery and a museum! Antique Archaeology (from American Picker's has a store here). The building was in rough shape years ago when purchased by an individual who want to use it to store upholstery etc. He later realized the rich history of the building, where Marathon Auto used to manufacture it's cards (competed with Pierce Arrow). He restored the building, utilizing its available space for shops and hallways packed with tools of the trade from back in the manufacturing days. He also bought up every Marathon car he could find. They are on display in the old showroom (museum across the street - free to get in). There are only a handful left, in the condition in which they were found. We had a great lunch here. Jack Daniels was cool to check out. Our whiskey samples at another distillery offered (5 mini shots) that you got to choose. They were all fantastic and we bought some to go. The samples were free! What a fantastic gem, especially on a hot day – it was wonderfully cool inside. The museum has an incredibly huge and impressive collection that really takes you on a journey. I particularly enjoyed how it goes all the way back to the geological beginning of the land, then beautifully transitions to show the early migrations of people, the rich history of the Native Americans who lived in this area, and then the European settlements. The staff were truly kind and helpful, which made the visit even more pleasant. The museum is really well laid out, making it easy to navigate through the different eras and themes. I particularly enjoyed the exhibit on music, and even though I know a lot about music already, I learned so much, especially about the Nashville Sound. The photography exhibit was also fascinating, going back to the very early days around 1850. I was especially moved by the photos, including one of a white baby and her slave nurse – a powerful historical image. The fact that it's completely free to visit is just amazing and makes it a must-do for anyone in Nashville. Highly recommend!

While I feel like there is a lot of wasted space and more could be squeezed in here, there is a a good bit of entertaining areas that you'll enjoy roaming around and seeing. On top of that, it was clean, not too crowded and everything was easy to find. We did purchase tickets to the planetarium and had a great 30 minute show. It was a very informative session and the projector/doom were amazing and very HD quality. Overall, a fun little place to brings kids to learn about science and spend some time. It also has a nice little jungle gym area in the center and you can even go to the roof and see the city from the windows in the top dome. Very cool!

We were from out of town, and the Science Center advertised that you could see the downtown fireworks from their lawn. The bathrooms here are in immaculate condition very clean well maintained by the staff very impressed by this as I’ve been to many stadiums!
