KILN米其林推介的东南亚餐厅 主打一个辣死我，辣的我流泪，但是真的好爽感觉辣椒都是小米辣，辣的直钻脑门。 主菜是猪肉而且还是半熟猪肉，我个人不喜欢吃猪肉更不喜欢半熟猪肉，但是他家还是比较会做，吃起来没有猪肉的奇怪味道，如果想吃辣来解馋，是个选择

不是很推荐，这一条用中文写吧，感觉餐厅调味比较符合外国人口味（酸甜）。 除monkfish curry非常辣外，所有菜调味都太甜，包括羊肉串。网上很火的粉丝煲也并无亮点，菜单价比较低，最后接近20£pp但没有一道菜让人感受到“Thai” （创意泰国菜）

The place was easy to find and seating was a flight of stairs down. There was plenty of room and I was seated quickly. The atmosphere seemed lively but not overly noisy so overall pretty good. When picked up, the center fell off and lost most of the sauce and the cheese. Slice after slice, same issue. I didn’t really like the pizza much. Definitely have had much better margarita pizzas. The first wasn’t very good either - felt very wet and unstable. For dessert I got the tiramisu. Came out looking pretty beat up. It was OK. Overall, really wanted to like it but definitely disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend, I’m sure there are better options nearby.

On entry, the acoustics were on par for a pub and the decor of the place matched that of a pub. Our hostess was accommodating of our early arrival and seated us promptly on the 3rd floor. We all like different things and that’s ok! I thought that for the price, the aubergine portion could have been bigger but it was well cooked. I’ve definitely had better vegetarian dishes in other restaurants but I’m still glad I tried it and I love that the ricotta was smoked as I find this has a lot more flavour than the unsmoked variety. Having said that, Brat definitely checked all the points for great food, though simple. I had the Anchovy bread and was able to see the chef kneading the dough then placing it into the oven with expertise, so satisfying! The bread itself was the usual, but the quality of the bread and the fish; just impeccable! For the main I had the John Dory and smoked potatoes, and gotta say it was sublime! The fish was peculiar in taste...in the best way possible; subtle hints of lemon and salt really elevated the dish. The potatoes were just as delicious with the right texture and crunch on the skin. For the dessert I got the burnt cheesecake with the fig; individually the components were nothing great, but when tasted all together, it was a burst of amazing sweetness and tartiness combined...a total win there! Though I would have liked the cake to have been softer (only because it is a Michelin star establishment) but otherwise, it satisfied my palate. Service was friendly, and I liked how down to earth the demeanours of the servers were. Still, I would have appreciated if they'd asked if I wanted the potatoes to go while clearing out the table. We didn’t get any introduction to how the menu works nor the specials of the day. Both of us were seated with our backs to the specials blackboard, so we had no idea there were other foods on offer until one of us went to the restroom later. The lack of explanation regarding the sharing style led us to: 1. each ordering our own starters and mains, 2. not realizing one of the starters was actually a snack (extra small portion), 3. receiving our dishes in rather funky orders. But I must admit, this one is partially on us, we were told that the dishes typically come as they become available and had the chance to have them served as starters and mains, but one of us said it was ok to follow the norm of the restaurant. Finally, our table was situated in front of some coat hooks by the entrance. Which meant that two of us had to get up several times during the meal to let others get their coats out. By night a restaurant but by day also a bakery and a wine shop! The food is amazing, French-English modern styled and they are fantastic in Nose-to-Tail dining! The Restaurant we had dinner in, is located in Spitalfields opposite to the Church and Foodmarket. The place looks very authentic and minimalistic with brown chairs and tables and all white walls. Service is excellent, staff is very friendly & helpful. The menu changes daily and there are a few daily specials. We ordered the Cod’s Roe and Crab on Toast to start and were absolutely amazed by both. After we tried the Chicken and Ox Tongue Pie, quite heavy but also very delicious! Sadly we were too full for dessert but these looked very tasty too. They have a massive wine selection so surely you will find one that pairs well with your chosen dishes. We had the fish and the lamb roasts and the portions killed us. I was a bit partial to the fish gravy, they should just sell that in jars. Service was excellent. As there was no availability at The Tamil Prince, we decided to go to their sister restaurant in Angel for a Sunday roast. Between us we had the fish, chicken and vegetarian roast options. The portions were huge and all the side dishes that came along with it created an explosion of flavours that would not be for the faint hearted or those not comfortable with spicy food. My chicken roast was soft, tender and flavoursome. I loved the crispy cauliflower and the gravy. The roast potatoes were a disappointment, as quite hard and quite bland with all the other flavours. My friends loved their roasted masala sea bream and veg roast too. I would highly recommend ordering the okra fries. They were crispy, not slimy at all and delicious. For me, South Indian/ Tamil spices can be a little over bearing compared to other regions and I found that to be the case for some of the side dishes but, the others in my group thought the food and spice was perfect. So it is definitely about personal taste and preferences. We each also had a couple of cocktails each. Would highly recommend the Masala Mary, a spicier take on a Bloody Mary, which was delicious. This restaurant is Insta famous so we thought we would give it a try. When we arrived, the service was brilliant. Staff were friendly, polite and attentive. We ordered the Sunday special which was the sirloin roast. When the roast arrived, the Yorkshire pudding looked amazing, as did the beef, although I think two slices of beef would have been better. Their steak was fantastic. Went for the butchers cut, 300g sirloin, medium rare. Sadly a few inedible chewy bits which I had to dispose of but the seasoning and sides were incredibly well thought and became a mini buffet, taking your buds on a culinary adventure. A special shout out to the Ash roasted sweet potato. The chips were the best I've had in a steak house. Think authentic hand cut chipppy chips, but cooked in beef fat and extra crispy and incredibly pillowy soft on the inside. The bone marrow left me a little wanting, not a huge amount of flavour for something that is otherwise normally a flavour bomb. The salad added a much needed cut through the overall richness and doubled as a convenient palate cleanser. The white chocolate cheesecake was incredibly rich and ended what I felt was a very good meal. The service was very good and our waiter was incredibly positive and helpful. It’s been my second time visiting, and on both occasions I have been throughly impressed. I ordered from one of the numerous stalls on offer, Jollof Mama. The Chicken suya I chose was a lovely plate of food. It was also my first ever tasting of plantain. I thought it tasted really nice personally speaking. I’d give the other stalls a go though, because I am not so certain that specific stall is open anymore. But there is a vast array of other options to choose from. Overall the venue itself is built for purpose. And can hold dozens at a time. The drinks are good and the food itself is worth a try. If you are ever in the area or happen to stumble upon this place by accident, pop in and give it a go. Our favourite was the beef Penang curry - it tasted unlike any Thai or Malaysian curry I’ve ever had and I loved it. The most terrible experience here. We knew the window seat must be very popular, so we asked the waiter if we could move to the table by window as soon as the customer there finished their meal and left. Then he said yes and told us to wait a moment after he cleaned that table then we could change. However, after a long time waiting, we wondered about the window seat was available or not, we asked the manager, who ignored our request and yelled at us because we would like to move to the vacant seat with window view or just because we are Asian? (They had already helped many other customers moved seats to window seat before.) Such a well known restaurant in London but the manager is a racist? Incredibly unbelievable. (We appreciated the first waiter who promised us that we can move seats and did a good favor for us in the beginning.) Duck&Waffle 📍110 Bishopsgate, London, EC2N 4AY 这家店在小红书火的不行，我主要是听Elaine之前来伦敦一大早就去吃，想着一定要拔草！这家很多时候都只能定到早晨6点6点半的位置，才能吃到Brunch或者breakfast，因为松饼看起来真的挺不错。 我和Yajing约了下午2点半的lunch，人也蛮多的，而且那天伦敦天真的很不错，在顶端看伦敦还是有种“一览众山小”的感觉。 Foie Gras Brulee 这个是有点焦糖布丁搭配面包的小菜，但是他的布丁里面似乎有鸭肉的味道，吃起来咸味超过了焦糖的甜味，面包很松软在加上表层的碎片像是柠檬的口味！ Duck&Waffle 这道招牌一定要吃，我个人觉得鸭肉份量很大，再加上华夫饼与蛋液融合在一起，很新鲜很干净的味道。 Lamb Shanks 这个羊腿真的非常厉害了，底部像是萝卜的口感，然后汤汁有一点淡淡的甜味，羊腿肉质很鲜嫩，我不是很爱吃羊肉都挺喜欢的！ 一般用餐时间在一个半小时到2小时，但是吃完还是挺快的！推荐大家没事刷刷官网找个时间去吃吃看哦！天气很不错的时候还是挺美的！
