Upon arrival in Geneva, we picked up a taxi to Café du Soleil, where we had made online reservations for lunch. We were early on that beautiful morning, which gave us time to stroll and relax in the very pretty Place du Petit-Saconnex. An historical church there delighted us with its bells at noon and at 12:30! Café du Soleil is a truly charming restaurant just across the street from the church. As Geneva's oldest bistro, its history "spoke" to us during our planning, months prior. We sat on the terrace because the day was so nice and savored the lusciously rich fondue, renowned as "the best fondue in Geneva."
