This second time, in August 2025, felt like a disappointment. We reserved a 2-floor room in the Resort with our 1-year-old baby for 5 nights. All in all, the village is great, the restaurants are nice, all the services offered are great (albeit everything comes with an additional price, like tennis courts, which is unheard of in 5* hotels), and this is an amazing place for families. I will potentially come back eventually. But you need to be aware that some rooms are very poorly maintained and that the staff does not live up to the expectations of a Luxury Collection, >600€ per night hotel.

We stayed for 5 nights and explored around the algarve. We ate at yakuza the first night and the food and service was exceptional. The spa was amazing ,we got a couples massage and were able to use the facilities like the herbal sauna,salt sauna ,steam room etc. The only issues we had was with the concierge services. We felt these were subpar for a 5 star resort ,we have stayed at many 5 star establishments and just didn’t feel the same effort as we normally receive. Also upon departure we asked for a trolly to be sent up to our room the reception desk told me they would let the bell man know. I walked down to put some lighter items in my vehicle and (2) bell men opened the doors for me. I thought it was odd but i am very patient. I ended up having to grab the trolly my self after waiting around 20 mins with no response. One of the younger bell men saw me and quickly assisted me, i asked if anyone had informed him he told me reception didn’t let him know. These two things were the only cons of pine cliffs. We will be back and hopefully they can sort out there reception concierge services.

Very supportive and patient. Especially with my kids. Everything installed is well maintained and secure. The instruction is great because the staff do try their best to explain in English for my girls even though I’m Canadian of Portuguese decent. Unfortunately for me, almost two weeks ago from this post, I made mistake at the end of the video because I tried to keep my right hand on the top of the zipline attachment. It was recommended that I use the rope but I built a bad habit as the line on the beginning of the red zone is below the waist. I should have watched my first born daughter do it as she went first. 🤦‍♂️ anyways, I wasn’t on the line long, but the friction burnt through my breathable shirt and the skin under my arm. I recovered back to the platform, showed them the wound. They recommended I get it treated. It’s a good thing we both had first aid kits. After they cleaned it off with Saline, I applied my polysporin and then after they applied Bonafine (an amazing healing cream for friction burns) and it felt so relieving. They helped me dress the wound and I placed a small cooler pack to minimize inflammation. It’s been two since, using HALIBUT cream for these kinds of skin burns and it’s 90% healed. Thanks to the team at Park Aventura my kids had a great time and we didn’t have to cut the kids fun short!

L’hôtel a finalement abandonné la surfacturation mais je peux vous dire qu’après 10 minutes de recherche sur mon téléphone pour leur montrer la réservation, j’étais plutôt froide glaciale et contrariée lorsqu’ils m’ont apporté une boisson de bienvenue à l’accueil de la réception que je n’ai absolument pas savouré. Deuxièmement l’hôtel est situé dans un coin perdu, loin des plages et des commodités. Nous avons dû louer une voiture dès le deuxième jour car nous nous sommes rendus compte qu’il n’y avait rien à faire à l’hôtel étant au mois d’avril et que le temps ne permettait pas de nous baigner dans les piscines extérieurs et que la piscine intérieur est payante et 1 heure Maxi vu que c’est le spa et interdit à mon fils qui n’a pas 16 ans. De plus, on nous informe pas qu’il y a deux piscines, ce qui fait que nous avons découvert le troisième jour après avoir vu plusieurs photos en disant, mais quand même où est cette piscine qui y figure sur les photos et nous avons trouvé par nous-mêmes la seconde piscine. Ensuite le bâtiment est propre mais vraiment sans charme on dirait une barre HLM de d’extérieur, je ne parle pas de la façade principale, je parle de tout le reste vraiment ça ne fait pas du tout cinq étoiles, il n’y a aucun charme extérieur. Par contre hormis l’accueil qui m’a beaucoup déçu, tout le reste du personnel était vraiment gentil et agréable, que ce soit le voiturier, Les portiers ou les personnes au petit déjeuner vraiment tous étaient gentils, avenants et chaleureux donc merci à eux ! Le petit déjeuné était top également ! Nous avons fait un hôtel cinq étoiles dans le sud de l’ Espagne, près de Cadix et je peux vous assurer que ça c’était vraiment un hôtel cinq étoiles. C’est pourquoi nous ne reviendrons pas dans cet hôtel.
