The first two times I went there, the food was extroardinary, the service was lovely and the way the meals were showcased had me talking about it for weeks. The 3rd time we went there, however, was a bit more lacklustre. We went to celebrate me and my twin’s birthday and went with the Chef’s Menu that night. Some of the dishes we had were very elderflower-concentrated and very repetitive in their ingredients and flavouring. while I didn't mind it personally, it did not sit well with everyone at the table, who disliked what some called a “goat cheesy” and “too much elderflower” in some of the dishes. It was the service, however, that really dropped a ball in some places. While managing birthday dinner requests can be difficult for small restaurants like this one, better organizing and nicer service could have improved our experience at the end. As it stands, this is still a great restaurant and I love the food and service (for the most part) over here. For brunch enthusiasts in particular who are in small groups, I strongly recommend this place. For parties of 10 and over who are considering doing a birthday dinner over here, I wouldn't recommend.

Looking at the menu , I've decided to go with the Lobster Bisque as a starter and the Beef Tenderloin for the entree . I Lobster Bisque was so good! I haven't had such good Lobster Bisque in quite a while. It was rich and creamy with the right balance of lobster flavor. The Beef Tenderloin was perfect - it came out medium rare which is just the way I like it. And of course I've had the creme brulee and brownie to finish off the night. With the place at capacity, I was quite impressed that the service, quality and quantity of food was top notch. I'll definitely come back to try out their menu and enjoy the beautiful scenery.

Great food & service from concierge Lorenzo to Melody our waitress and even the gal who kept filling our water without asking. We started with nicely fried calamari which came with some light salad. I purchased 2 pumpkin pies that were both extremely disappointing and not the quality I’m used to experiencing whenever I purchase from the pie shoppe. Aside from that, the crust was over cooked to the point where it was difficult to eat. The filling was dry and not mixed well as there were some isolated sweet spots and some salty spots so the flavour was not balanced over all. These pies cost me $18 each, plus 2 containers of whipped cream ($8 each and ridiculously over priced for whipped cream). For these prices, I expect FAR better quality than what I received. I don’t even feel comfortable seeking a resolution at this point as I have recently learned the staff responses to inquiries are discourteous and unprofessional. I think it’s important to support local businesses. My family and I would purchase pies all the time for every family event or special occasion. I’m very saddened by this experience to say the least. Service was rather slow. It was a Saturday night however so we understood. But that being said, there were practically only 2 servers.
