We had actually met Savanah prior when we were touring the venue and loved working with her instantly but the event coordination was handled by the previous coordinator at the time. The venue is beautiful I found them on one of the wedding platforms. That said, the experience was stressful because amounts were changed multiple times and even day of, I was told that I should've been charged for cake cutting/serving as well as the use of the bridal and groomsmen's room, despite their rep Christa telling us these things where included free of charge. Additionally, those fees weren't mentioned in the contract nor in my multiple communications with the coordinators of the space. Here is my review that you should consider if you are planning an event here. Pros -Beautiful open space that you can turn into anything you want -Nice seating -Linens and plates professionally done with extra touches for the napkins that were nice. -Food was tasty and well seasoned (though mine was lukewarm). -Bar was set up professionally and cash bar prices were good for my guests. - Furniture aesthetic was nice (however the use of the luxury pieces was extra if you want guests to see them). -Ruby was great day of and leading up to the event once she took over for Christa. She supported us to ensure things were honored that were originally promised and that our event was nice. Cons -Communication was difficult because several people were involved that were not on the same page. -Tour was conducted while we were setting up for the wedding which felt crass and insensitive. Contractually this was not stated that this is something they could do. During Corona, it freaked me out that random people were in our space during set up without masks. (Rebecca apologized later for this which I appreciated). -At the end of our event they had another party setting up and moving us out before we were even done tearing down. We were originally told the space would be ours for the day and there were no other parties. This did not feel good and felt extremely unprofessional. My husband was thoroughly annoyed to put it lightly. Overall I would say that for the cost it was worth the various issues. If you plan to do an important event here, make sure you are in close communication with your coordinator and read your contract carefully. I found charges that weren't supposed to be there that they later removed per my request. Hopefully this helps anyone considering booking this beautiful space. J

It was very important to us that the outdoor area had some sort of shade solution since our wedding was in the summer, and Blanco’s rooftop was the perfect fit with the elegant roll out shades that could be retracted at night for rooftop festivities! We were also impressed with the care and detail the venue team put into upkeeping the space between events from what we saw the couple times we visited before our wedding day. Coordination and organization for payments and documents up until the event day was an absolute breeze. This wasn’t something I was expecting to be so appreciative of until I was deep into the wedding planning process. Blanco uses an online portal where you can make all of your payments, access invoices and receipts, and view upcoming payment due dates, making it very easy to keep track of everything. The Blanco team was also a pleasure to work with! We worked with Chrissy for the initial coordination, Renee for the preparation up until the event and then with both Renee and Hailey the day of. They were all so helpful and welcoming to make sure we had everything set and ready to go for the rehearsal and wedding day. By far, this venue is the best wedding venue in the bay area. The setting is gorgeous, and the banquet hall overlooks the golf course and you can see the man made waterfalls from the side. The only way to really describe this course is BIG. It feels large. Meaning lots of elevation changes and it covers a large area. I am a Mike Strantz fan. Tobacco Road is one of my favorites. The only hole on this course that resembles Tobacco is the par 3 #4 hole. There is kinda an additional 19th hole, but it uses the green of #18. But it is a really fun golf shot from the top of the water fall. There were a few imperfections on a couple holes from ground squirrels, but they have put new sod down on the fairways so it will recover quickly. Greens were in good shape and running true. The space was perfect for the occasion and aesthetically pleasing inside. There are 2 restrooms, one of which is handicap accessible which is very important for us as my Dad is in a wheelchair. Needless to say owners, Apryll and Josh are amazing; always available to answer any questions and are very accommodating. Apryll also created a slide show for us last minute and provided a throne chair for our daughter to complete the look! We rented the space for the day and were able to come in early for set up; they were there to assist as well without hesitation. Although I did have my own centerpieces and runners they provided chargers and table linens and beautiful clear chiavari chairs for our set up. But Apryll can help with decorations as well if needed. The security they be provided were also super nice and very helpful as well. We highly recommend booking and hosting any type of event at The Prestige Venue. We know we will be returning! One side occurrence that we were not aware of initially was that a side area of the building was rented to another group the night of our wedding. Our vendors had to let us know that some people who we did not know were trying to obtain drinks/food/or be near some of our favors or wedding gift box. If we had known this, we could have let the vendors know or changed the location of some of our belongings. The ICC is a great place overall, and I'm glad we did the programme, but disorganised management can detract from the experience. When we first came here, I was bowled over by the energy, enthusiasm and goodwill of everyone I met. Truly a wonderful community and a vibrant community resource. However, there were so many last minute changes in our session of the programme that our kids never ended up doing any design. Session dates were cancelled, new dates scheduled, then cancelled, then rescheduled. Fourth grade kids (9 years old) were put in a room for an entire three hour session with no robotics equipment and told to work on writing up notes. Mentors seemed to be there mostly to answer questions and give presentations. Finally, the scrimmage that is supposed to be the highlight of the 8 week course was scheduled before the end of the course to accommodate people who were unable to make the final session due to the date changes. This resulted in the kids needing to "compete" with something that had no alterations from the pre-packaged hero bot. Management does not respond to email and can be evasive in person, which makes things particularly frustrating. Even with all that, the enthusiasm from the kids in the room is infectious, and you really feel part of something bigger. It's a big robotics programme, and trying to expand. Both courses were in great shape, the greens were pretty quick, though the Valley Course greens are hard as rocks, and don't receive shots well. I have played the Valley in an afternoon practice round and the wind is a huge factor. Big gusts. The Tournament course is a wonderful Jack Nicklaus design, and like many Nicklaus courses, if you play a cut you will enjoy how it fits the eye. The green complexes on the Tournament course are awesome, the greens held and the layout is really good. A lot of character for being in such an open area. Top notch golf facility. Food and beverage staff were really cool as well in the bar area and halfway house. The shop staff was good too, bought some gear :). 4.5 / 5.0
