And WOW. Firstly the cafe isn't overly nordic but the menu certainly is nordic inspired. The service was alittle slow but staff were very friendly and happy. The food was really tasty, plentiful and the combination of flavours were really good. The coffee, I had the MAGIC, which was meant to be their strongest coffee, it was lacking alittle bit. But the taste was there. Will certainly visit again next time im in canberra to try some other items on the menu.

Unfortunately LSR can be a hit and miss with food and their latest updated menu is unfortunately a miss 😔 Not only was the portion ridiculously small but the amount of effort that went into preparing the Smash Avo dish compared to the price they charge was honestly insulting. If I receive a dish that I can make myself, and make better, at home for a fraction of the price then I will absolutely not visit that cafe again. The coffee is excellent as always. Very spoilt in Canberra for choice around coffee, but Two Before Ten do tend to stand out. We had the chicken burger and eggplant toastie. Both were pretty good. Wouldn't say their chips were the best, but good enough. The staff were really lovely. Even though it was busy, they were fairly relaxed, so you didn't feel like a bother. I hope the construction work across from them is finished soon, as it would be nice to have something better to look out on! But they make up for it with lots of lovely plants inside. Would go back.

There are some nice stain glass windows, and the tables are spaced out. We came to visit for a tea and a sweet afternoon treat. There was some nice slices of cake and some biscuits. I was told that they had ran out of proper cups & it would be served in a take away cup i said thats fine. I had to repeat numeous times the order & even when she read it back still got it wrong. Whist i was in ordering they came to the table & only put 1 lot of cutlery down & walked away. Our drinks were delivered to the table & we received 2 coffees, i had to go in & say i ordered a chai latte not a coffee no apologies or anything. Whilst waiitng we then had to ask for cutlery the guy said not an issue it never came, then we asked again to be told they had a shortage of cutlery but the same guy had just placed cutlery on a table of people who sat down after us, we asked a 3rd time & finally got cutlery (it shoudnt have been that hard). I saw a number of hot drinks coming out in the nice cups not sure why we were the only ones who were seated to get takeaway cups. Our food finally arrived & again was the wrong order it was 2 poached eggs on avacado / toast & another dish not sure what it was we said no wrong order. Eventually we got the eggs Benedict I started eating only 1 egg was poached the other wasnt & after a few minutes the poached eggs came out. This place is disorganised, lacks attention to detail & the staff have a zero care factor. Not worth the price 1 star for service is being generous

We ate breakfast here for three days straight on our recent trip to Canberra. The service was extremely warm and friendly, the coffee amazing and the food beyond delicious and impeccably presented. The menu is fairly extensive and works either as a traditional starter / main or ordering a variety of small and large plates for the table. In my experience the servings were very generous. I ordered the fried zucchini flower to start, followed by the porchetta and finally tiramisu for dessert. The kitchen was efficient and the dishes were beautifully plated. The zucchini flower was perfectly crispy with plenty of cheese on top. The porchetta was huge and prepared in their wood fire oven, some pieces had better, crunchier crackling than others but overall still excellent. They described their tiramisu as the best in town so I had to give it a go, it was the highlight of the meal! Make sure you save room for some. Service overall was good; some staff were fantastic and whilst no-one was bad there were some newer team members who were eager but perhaps a little inexperienced which I'm sure will be fine in time. Given my late night visit the restaurant was fairly quiet with the remaining tables getting towards the tail-end of their meals, however the vibe was pleasant and the space is tastefully decorated with a variety of seating options.
