Tried to visit this place during a Colts Home Game but didn’t get there early enough to truly experience the place. Last night we stopped by for dinner. They have live music every night. They often play live music, but my wife and I really just came for the food. So many classic arcade games that instantly brought me back to my childhood. Games are free to play with a beverage purchase. Beverages have fun names related to various video games and pulp culture references. The layout of the facility is easy to navigate as the games are spaced out in a ring around the bar with custom wooden tables for your drinks between each machine. Impressive pulp culture references are airbrush painted on the walls. A killer lineup of new pinball machines in the backroom are waiting for you. While not included in the free play, they are a blast too with many different movie/show references. Plenty of seating if you get tired crushing it on Contra or Street Fighter II. There is a handicap accessible ramp to the pinball area and bathrooms were very nice. I suggest coming here after you have a meal elsewhere as they don't really have a full food menu and I'm guessing that if to keep the arcade machines from getting gross. Lastly upfront near the entrance, they have console based games including Super Nintendo N64. They even have some of the classic table top games like you would have seen in Pizza Hut from the 70s/80s. A great find here in Indy!

It's even less likely that I leave a review that's overwhelming positive in every single aspect of my visit. Not only is the decor of the restaurant really cool to look at there's also a history here. As far as food goes I got the Jaegerschnitzel. It comes with the soup of the day as well as bread service. The soup was a creamy tomato and I'll be daamed if I don't try to find the recipe somewhere it was that good. The "bread" service was a big soft pretzel and a spicy mustard. The mustard was really spicy but really good so use sparingly. The mushroom sauce on top of the Schnitzel was to die for. Not only that but the Schnitzel itself was very flavorful and light. The "accompaniments" that I got were the German Potato Salad and the Spaetzle Noodles. The potato salad was a sweet flavor and very delicious. It was an unexpected flavor but very welcomed. The Noodles were very interesting. From what I could taste they reminded me of really good dumplings. I did indulge in a beer when I went. It was the "Warsteiner Isenbeck" a Stout beer. It was really easy to drink and had a great flavor as well. I'd highly recommend. I went for two deserts for me and my partner to share. The first was the Apple Strudel Alamode. It needs every piece of this plate to make itself work but it's very light and very good. The other was the Rathskeller Bread Pudding. I have few words other than perfection. This last light and not overly sweet. I loved every bite. The last and most important part of this entire experience was our server. Michael who was are bartender/server was an experience. One of the best servers I've ever had it's not hard to see why he's been here for 20 years. I was happy talking with him and he made our experience all that more special. Will I be back? Absolutely they have a outside patio with live music so got to come back for that. They have amazing food so I need to try more. There are several TVs around the restaurant and bar areas. We are here shortly after arriving at our hotel down the alley. While the bar was full, there was still plenty of seating in the dining areas. The hostess found us a spot where he could see the game(s) after several attempts. Didn't order any drinks even though they had some good specials going on. I ordered the cowboy burger and he got the Chicken sandwich. My burger was cooked to order, juicy and really good. And all you could smell was someone smoking down stairs outside which was totally our fault for wanting to sit outside but it was nice out. Came for dinner the place was booming since we did not have a reservation there was like a ten minute wait. The hostess was very friendly, informative and professional. Our server Josh was nice attentive with good personality. We had the chicken empanadas which were amazing, Green Chile Lamb, and Chicken Enchiladas. The venue is quite lovely with nice outdoor seating and just the right amount of space between tables. Waitstaff was kind and very helpful with recommendations. We were provided with some complimentary chicharrones (vegan) at the start of the meal, which were light and crispy. We started off our meal with the cauliflower appetizer, which was delicious and also quite creative—it had sweet, savory, and spicy elements to it with fun textural components, especially with the crunchy pepita seeds! My only suggestion for the dish is that it be cooked in smaller chunks because the insides of the cauliflower pieces did not get enough of the seasoning and were a bit crunchy/raw cauliflower-forward. For our entrees, we got the paella and skirt steak. Both were well-executed. Paella was solid but did not blow me out of the water. The scallop was cooked to perfection though. I’m also not one to be particularly impressed by steaks, so I thought the steak (medium-rare) dish was pretty good, but my partner really enjoyed it! I thought the machego-polenta fry was a nice addition and the broccolini was my favorite part of the dish. We finished off our meal with an apple and caramel tres leches dish, which was like a McDonalds apple pie filling with tres leches cake! A bit too sweet for me and I did wish there was more ice cream to accompany the cake, but overall, it was a good finish to the meal.
