The first ridiculous claim I came across was for veggy sushi which is claimed to "enhance the memory" and "enrich the blood" as if eating a plate would help you pass an exam. Another crazy one was a fruit and vegetable juice which not only "prevents aging" (I wish) but is also apparently "slimming". I guess if you drank a couple of litres a day you would get fat soon enough. The thing that I did find most irksome was how they promote the healthiness of their Thai curries by substituting coconut milk with 'organic oat milk'. Taking coconut milk out of a Thai curry is like scones without butter, cream or jam; a full English breakfast but with no eggs or toast, or an Italian pasta with no cheese or cream. It is NOT a thai curry. I ordered one to see how it tasted, and it tasted pretty good, but not like a Thai curry. A main dish for 2 people plus 2 cups of very bad coffee (they give you a cheap coffee bag and a small pot of hot water to pour over it) came to 50 ringgit. Seeing that for about 20-30 ringitt two people could happily enjoy a vegetarian feast elsewhere in Penang is a killer. I wish the owners very good luck with their business, they have made the restaurant a very nice place to sit in and the service is good, but based on value for money and small selection of dishes, I won't be back here in any kind of a hurry except to be amused by the menu again (see photos).
