We decided the order food but HALF OF ITEM IN MENU WAS NOT AVAILABLE as if we have come to dhaba and not a five star hotel. The FOOD ARRIVED 90 MINUTES POST ORDERING, THAT TOO BURNED. My friends and I ordered 2 pizzas, a hookak and a few drinks. The service was great and the waiter, Chandan, who served us did a good job to ensure we were served well. The bartender didn’t even produce a bill and requested for my card. It was at their outdoor bar counter where I asked for a bottled water, which had an MRP of ₹10, but they charged ₹50. As someone from a well-educated background and with experience in the hospitality industry, I understand that every customer should be treated with respect. The place was moderately crowded in the evening which was not expected for a Sunday, a telling sign of popular business. Our queue number was 24 at 10:30pm! The bar has a floating counter next to their microbrewery machines where my friend and I decided to stay even after getting a table. The servers are very friendly and polite. We were initially attended by a different server but later Parimal took our order. As a first time microbrewery drinker, I asked for their recommendation and both the serves brought us three samplers. Trust me when I say this, listen to their recommendation! I always ask servers for their bestselling items on the menu and this was the first time that I can say that they can be trusted. We ordered half-n-half pizza with chicken bbq and lamb and fig toppings, jackfruit and avocado toast; regular fries with three different dips and gunpowder masala(served separately on request). Pizzas turned out to be on the sweeter side but I thought of adding the gunpowder an peri peri masala which came with the fries and guys this was my personal favourite experiment I’ve discovered. Try it if you like spicy food. We also got to try their Layer Cake which was the best chocolate cake I’ve ever had, with chocochips adding a crunch in each bite - it didn’t even have to be warmed up or served with a scoop of ice cream. Too good! So, the overall experience was marvellous and have to give a shout out to the staff for their warm hospitality especially Parimal. Also, the restrooms are super hygienic.

Together both deserved a second serving and there went any chances to try Italian or even the very interesting looking Pav bhaji !! Red velvet is one of my current dessert favourites and the mini red velvet that were placed beautifully on a winding pedestal didn't dissappoint. Overall a very positive experience. Some dishes stood out and the Chefs in particular were very approachable and provided first hand explanations of the specialities.

It was a guava juice, mixed with chaat masala and the green chillies guarding the circumference of the glass. 🍲Black bean nachos ➡️ The nachos was pretty good. It was an overall mixture of quite a lot of things like the onions, black olive and jalapenos. 🍤Golden fried prawn ➡️ The prawns were cooked pretty well they had the right mix of spices. They weren't that eye catchy yet the taste was good. 🥓Coorgi pork ➡️ This was a big let down for me. It was no way like a coorgi pork. It was tad and more of a curry than being a conventional coorgi pork dish. 🍗Dragon chicken ➡️ The chicken was nicely mixed with coriander leaves and onions and deep fried. The sauce texture on the chicken was pretty good. It was one of the best non veg starter at the pub. 🌰Paneer maknmali tikka ➡️ It was a soft cottage cheese with cashew nuts. Again I felt it was pretty much mean and didn't taste good. 🧀Jalapeno cheese balls ➡️ The presentation was good. It was provided in a long handle glass. The mozarella cheese and the jalapeno Indian herbs made a combination. They were provided along with a panco combo and dip. 🥓Murgh darbari kebab ➡️ This was one of the best among the non veg starters. They were the chicken leg which was well mixed with green chilli and red peppers and other Indian spices. They were spicy too. 🍕 Amazing chicken ➡️ It was a big thin crust pizza, loaded with enough chicken chunks, chicken keema and chicken ham and also the mix of peri peri to give the spicy content which was required. 🍖Fried chicken strips ➡️ The chicken strips tasted good. It was mixture of variety of things such as the pepper, garlic, olive oil and peri peri sizzling. They were hot and spicy. 🍨Brownie with ice cream ➡️ One of the best among the desserts. The brownie was hot and chocolaty and fresh. Scoop of ice cream on top of the brownie was pretty good too. All in all Xtreme sports bar at sarjapur is one of the happening places. There is a mini football play area available beside the pub. Their ambience is pretty much fine but I would suggest for the service to be top notch. The food needs improvement at certain aspects. You get tasty food here with awesome starters and thin crust pizza . Also the place has a bar with a pool table inside the restaurant. They charge 100 rupees per frame for the pool table though.. This has a big dance floor as well though song selection of their DJs can be improved. I have been here twice and I have enjoyed a lot. Restaurant has tables inside and on roof top. I like roof top tables a lot coz you get a view of football grounds of Play Arena and you feel like sitting in a Stadium kind of place. Before going into any further details, want to confess that I was awestruck with the beauty of the place. From the moment we reached the place, the next couple of minutes were speechless internalizing the decor and artistic look & feel of the place. The place is huge with lot of space, both indoors and outdoors. Though every nook and corner of the place is treat for the eyes, I particularly like the veranda (backyard) of sorts with ample sitting in the natural environs. We were allotted a beautiful room for ourselves, with an artistic grandeur, couple of chairs and tables, bar stools, a television screen with projector capability and a tea / coffee vending machine. To add to the experience, was a delightful service provided by none other than Marzipan Cafe, which needs no introductions. The day was spent planning & brainstorming with colleagues, accompanied with yummy delights from Marzipan. There was no stop put to the yummy Cappuccinos, Lattes & Americanos, accompanied with the out-of-world freshly baked cookies. If you do, don't forget to try their melt-in-the-mouth Ragi cookie - which is beyond anyone's comprehension. We also tried other bakery items that were on display, like the Puffs, Tyropita & Quiche. We also ordered a Mushroom Melt Sandwich, which again was worth the try, amazingly fresh & delicious. The desserts at Marzipan are the showstoppers and are not to be missed at any cost, particularly the Marzipan Cake, Banoffee Pie & Banana Nutella Cake.
