I didn't expect an impassioned dance to a version of Stand By Me, partially sung in Hawaiian, which hit hard after losing one of my closest friends earlier in the month who would have loved the place. The waiter didn't give us water when we sat down, only took our drink and appetizer order and then never came back to get our dinner order. He went off doing something else and it wasn't even busy (seems like he wasn't trained at all). We got our food (brussels V, marquis burger GF, marquis burger and the taglietelle) - the taglietelle was super bland (limited flavour). The waiter never came by to ask us how the food was - we had to call on him to come over and provide the salt and pepper. The burgers were decent, however the fries were extremely dry. Drinks we order were good, but presentation wise was lacking for the price we paid. For the price this was not acceptable. I will not be returning.

He was very quick to answering all my questions and guiding me along the process. The staff that night was exceptional, they were all very friendly and helpful! The venue itself is very beautiful and spacious, we had almost up to 100 people but it wasn’t at all cramped. Decorating was also optional, but as shown we didn’t need to as the interior was already nice itself. Was a pleasure to host my birthday here, would definitely recommend anyone who wants to have an upscale event to do it @ the modern!
