The sandwiches were also mind blowing. This was probably the best Chicken Philly I have ever had in my life. The chicken was cooked not in thin shavings which makes it easy for it to come out dry, but instead it was cooked in medium bites, which kept the chicken moist. This paired with the melted mozzarella, onions, mushrooms and bell peppers all on toasted bread made it. My boyfriend enjoyed the muffuletta, and so did I, granted it was a close second to my Chicken Philly. The olive spread on the muffuletta was the best thing about the sandwich, in my opinion. There was no one there but another young lady quickly appeared when I went in and recommended a cigar, cut and lit it for me and I went back to bar and the drink was there. Overall, I didn't feel welcomed here and was gonna have another drink but left with my cigar after the first drink. I noticed a ton of signs around the bar about using jiggers, don't move this, turn on the lights and something about not pissing in the bathroom but one sign was missing...how about a sign that says our customers pay our bills and we should make them feel like they want to come back here again. I was passing through town on my cross country road trip and this was my third visit to Memphis but if I come back thru, I won't be going to this place again.

We got married in 2019 on a Friday and put ourselves on a $10,000 budget for a ceremony of 65 guests. The venue provided a fully-equipped kitchen for the caterers, who we contracted separate from the venue, as well as a sound system for the party after dinner. Aside from my bouquet and garland, all of the artificial flowers are provided by the venue. The furniture is in top condition and all of our guests were simply charmed by this place. It's modest but elegant and perfect for an intimate wedding or ceremony.

This was a once-in-a-lifetime milestone, and the state of the venue did not reflect the standards promised to me when I booked on August 28. For the amount charged to rent your venue, I expected a professional standard of cleaning and maintenance. The agreement we entered into included assurances of a clean and maintained facility, which was not provided. I honestly don’t know how you continue to get business with the lack of cleanliness of your facility. I planned this celebration from Charlotte, NC, so I was absolutely thrilled with how easy and accommodating they were to work with while planning. Chelsea Richardson on staff was incredible and very responsive to any and all of my questions I had during the planning (and I had alot :) LOL). Even on the night of our event, I had a question and was helped immediately by a member of staff. The space was clean and the price is the best in town! They even include tables and chairs! Many of our guests were from Memphis and had no idea they were here and are considering them for their next event! I hope so you will not be disappointed!! Thank you Chelsea and staff for making this part of my party planning easy!

I sent a message on their portal system on 7-July, and received no response so I sent the same message via email on 13-July. (Our wedding was 6-Aug) We received a phone call a couple days later in which Pamela had me repeat everything that I had asked in email. I did no problem, we talked for over 30 minutes where she answered some of my questions and promised to provide me with answers for the rest of the questions either that same day or the following. I did not hear from her for 3 more days. Then she called and said "Hi I'm not sure if we have talked yet about your upcoming wedding" and tried to repeat the exact conversation we had had previously. I told her we had already talked, and repeated the questions she had told me she would get back to me with. She did not call back for a week. At this point, I was very frustrated and my husband was seeing this, so he called her. We got some more answers and she followed up with an email. Each time we communicated with her it took more than two days to receive a response. Finally we were told we could come at 8 am on the day of the wedding to set up our decorations and such by Pamela. We get there at 8 am and the building is locked with no one there. After about 30 min we finally find someone to let us in. George got there at about 9:30 (I think) and it was pretty much smooth sailing after that. He and I found multiple instances where Pamela promised something and either didn't tell George (or anyone else) or simply provided fall information. George ran his a"" off during the wedding dinner, making sure everything went perfectly. One thing I was very disappointed about was the women's bathroom started leaking everywhere and it was not fixed that night, so our guests had to walk across the street to use the restroom. There is also no bridal suite to get ready in, which seems like a very large design flaw. We ended up locking everyone out of the inside of the building and getting ready where the dinner was. ALSO, the bartender was gone the majority of the night. Every time I looked at the bar he was gone. I found out later that he was actually helping in the kitchen, but I think the venue needs to give George more help because he was doing everything. And since the bar is not cheap I did not feel it appropriate for the bartender to not be behind the bar serving guests, and behind the bar even when there weren't guests in case someone wanted a drink.
