The restaurant is in a residence, which really gives that family meal feel. So much so, that it is common for patrons at different tables have conversations with each other. Unlike most restaurants, there is no real urgency to turn over tables. This promotes the Italian tradition of enjoying your meal and conversation. We ended up playing Uno with two couples which was absolutely a blast. The service was very responsive and we were immediately served with new drinks, and warm homemade bread. Their bread is incredibly fresh and comes with a roasted garlic spread and butter (which I had to get two baskets). The house salad served with blue cheese was amazing! We got the gnocchi with cheese sauce and chicken, and the spinach Alfredo Alfredo sauce and shrimp which were amazing! I do wish the shrimp were bigger, or the plate came with more of them which is my only gripe! For dessert we got the Italian wedding cake which was so fresh and warm that my significant other had to complete the dish even though we were so incredibly full. If this isn’t one of the stops you’re making when you come to Eureka Springs then you are doing it wrong!

We arrived to check in for a table around 4:30pm, this past Saturday, it took about 10-15 minutes for the hostess to come out and take our names. The silver lining was that we sat on the balcony for so long, we were able to enjoy the sunset. We ended up paying the bill around 7:30 pm. I can’t imagine visiting Eureka Springs again without returning to Le Stick. The staff were incredible, attentive, kind, and genuinely passionate about the courses they were serving. I called a few hours before the start of seating, just to see if they might be able to fit me in and Donna, the chef owner, was so nice and welcoming! I was eating by myself, and she sat me at the perfect placement in the restaurant. It was a Sunday night, so it wasn’t totally full, but honestly that just added to the overall atmosphere. It is a seated six course tasting menu so it does progress over two hours. It is a good pace, but for those thinking they can get in and out quickly, this is not the experience for you. I love that so many of the dishes were so thoughtful and locally sourced ingredients - everything on the plate made sense and wasnt ‘tweezer-fied’ just for aesthetics sake. A lot of the stuff is made in house and all the little touches like the pickled watermelon rind, which was reused from when they made watermelon sorbet, make it that much more thoughtful. Many of the items I went into town to shop for specifically the next day. For those folks saying this is a little bit on the expensive side, well that’s totally relative. I am from Austin and $100 6 course meal is not a bad price at all. I will say the service was exceptional. If you’re talking Michelin stars I would say definitely Michelin star service. Donna was so thoughtful and came out and chatted with every single table made sure everyone was comfortable and had what they needed. Cody was super knowledgeable and a true Eurekan, so had lots of great tips and stories about the town and the restaurant itself. If you are in town visiting, just make the phone call, don’t be intimidated by the six course tasting menu. It is not stuffy, or hoity-toity, but still very refined and a really unique special experience. The food is well made and service is right on point. When I have gotten catfish they always bread it too much taking the taste away from the actual fish and the texture was amazing. They often have nightly specials like Walleye Crab. The service on the afternoon I was there was good and very accommodating. They have a very nice selection of beer and other beverages.
