At £101.75 for the room and breakfast, plus £35.50 for a super meal with two beers, it was a bargain. Almost worth making a special trip to the Isle of Wight for. I don't go for cooked breakfasts and thus found the offering a bit sparse but the menu (see photo) includes a range of cooked items which, I was assured, are included without charge for Charter House guests

However, I feel I had to leave a 5 star rating from what I have seen on social media over the last few days. The owner and staff are absolutely fantastic, very accommodating, down to earth, knowledgeable, with beautiful & wholesome interactions with guest(s). Their knowledge for the area and recommendations for things to do are incredible. I am going to visit this Hotel next Summer purple down to seeing the care and attention staff & ownder have been leaving guests. Staff seem absolutely incredible and go above and beyond for their guests. We'll dine, absolutely never witness such fantastic hospitality.

Didn't stay here but stumbled across it for somewhere to eat. The food was amazing. Had the steak baguette & it was honestly the best ever. This pub should be heaving but I think the roadworks that are in place aren't helping. If you visit IoW you should go here. Use Google maps to navigate your way around the roadworks cos it'll be worth it
