I live in the area, so had only rented because I wanted to test drive an EV for the weekend, but could not waste the 2 hours it was going to take in that line. I tried calling to cancel and was told it would be a cancellation fee of $150 (my entire rental cost was only $125!!) and had to speak to a supervisor to be able to get a full refund. I have FastBreak, but there was no line or signage for that. They then told me that they were trying to figure out a way to get me into a car because I wouldn’t have one otherwise, and I said no, I have a car (my personal one that I had just planned on leaving at the airport that weekend) and the supervisor took that to mean that THAT was the true reason that I was trying to cancel (assuming he believed that I got a rental car with a different company). I told him if he was able to contact the staff and get me the keys to an EV, I would gladly take it but I couldn’t wait for 2 hours in line.
