I went in stating I wanted assymetry, braids (cause that's kind of my thing), that I didn't want the back of the dress covered, and I liked the look of the sideswept look as well. It's a lot to go on. You can see from the pictures what was received. She took the backside pictures with my phone in the salon herself. While walking to my car pins were falling out of my hair and bouncing on the mall tiles. I was in absolute shambles. I had to messy bun it up, I had to apologize to the person I was meeting for drinks afterwards because I looked like a hot mess. It was really bad. After talking to Chelsea about it, she stated that she had to do FOUR trials on her sister in law, and that the point of trials is for things like this. She stated that it was a different situation with me and she isn't used to the bride not having any ideas aside from braids and not blocking the dress. She stated that she had never done my hair prior to that so she didn't know what she was working with. As a note, there would be 6 other people she's never worked with before that wouldn't be getting 4 trials each before the wedding, so it was obviously concerning. I didn't have the time to come for 3 more trials, and her paperwork stated that if more than 1 trial is needed that there would be a charge. Her contract paperwork stated that if I canceled within the 30 days prior I would have to pay the full amount. I wouldn't be able to get in for another trial before that due date, so I either had to cancel then or take my chances and risk paying a lot of money. Due to her lacking ability to provide the service, I had no logical choice but to cancel because I truly feel she cannot uphold her end of the contract on the most important day of my life. I had requested that due to the inability to provide a presentable updo (note I say presentable not even going into the realm of bridal), and the false advertising that came along with it, that I be refunded my deposit and that I would pay her for her time. She found a few she liked but wanted to check out one more store. As she had the hope to find a dress she had seen online, advertised by that other store. I brought my black ripped Slim Straight Jeans home to discover they are not as long as my other pairs, they ride way higher at my ankle. I brought the jeans back to the store to inquire about an exchange where I am immediately steamrolled in the conversation saying I should be trying on every pair of clothes that I buy. Exceptionally knowledgeable, professional and efficient at what he does. I am very happy with the services we received on our garage door when it wouldn’t close or open properly after a power outage. Stan said he would arrive some time between 10:00 - 12:00 and he came at 9:45! :) Our garage door is old (installed in 1994) and really does need to be replaced, but Stan never once pushed for an expensive installation of a new system and door. Instead he fixed it and made it actually work even better than before! He provided estimates on potential future costs for when we do eventually replace the door, tracks and motor and was very open, honest and transparent. He said that he can provide samples and work with us in the future for when we decide to pull the trigger on this very big, expensive and important upgrade to our home and I appreciated that offer. I would absolutely love to work with this company when we decide to upgrade our garage door, and will definitely be calling them again if our current one has any more issues in the future.
