There's also no bag shelf or hooks for coats so it makes you have to take up another seat or hug your personal items on your lap. The food portions were great. Table service was really slow, we actually had to approach someone to have our order taken and it wasn't busy. It made me sad how quiet it was for a Saturday night in August, so we actually ended up moving on after a couple of drinks for somewhere busier (as it was our anniversary), which is a shame as this is usually a first choice for me due to atmosphere! I'm very fortunate to have found Goff's Manor as a result, it itches that scratch of a good pub whilst being modern enough and different enough to be a wonderful experience. Food was alright pizza was about 6/10 I felt the crust was quite dry but the inside of the pizza had a lot of sauce on it causing it to be soggy in the middle. Only a few families. The was a paid car park about 300 yards from the restaurant otherwise parking is a bit of a struggle. Food was lovely tast and fresh. Not to keen on the wine list I would recommend the picpoul if your wine drinker however expensive at £29 a bottle. Downside is not many options on lager. Since they started brewing peroni (The only lager they sell) in England the percentage has dropped to 5% and it just doesn’t taste as good. However as I said food was good we only had pizzas.
