It took over four hours for staff to move us to a clean third room despite repeated promises that someone would be up in “10 minutes” and the room would be ready in “15.” By the time we were finally given a clean room, two of our three nights had been affected & we were leaving the next morning. Communication and compensation were inconsistent. I spoke with multiple managers and received different information about what would be waived; at one point I was told two nights of resort fees and a $50 credit, later the full resort fee and $50 credit, and then told there would be no $50 credit until I followed up. They also tried to charge additional taxes/fees that are still in the process in being refunded (almost two weeks later). The hotel insisted they don’t issue refunds for nights & were very firm on not giving us one (not bc of our third party booking either) but because they felt like they handled everything properly; thank goodness I booked through a third-party who was willing to refund me based on my experience. I had to call corporate several times to get the issue escalated with this hotel too. The hotel ultimately waived $186 in resort fees and later offered a future upgrade and food credit, but that does not make up for the sanitation issues, lost vacation time, and the repeated misinformation. Bathroom, at least in our room, needed updating, though. Square overhead shower dribbles water., as well as no pressure. Wasn’t clogged that we could tell, just no pressure at all. Tiles are old and stained, I hope they are planning on replacing in their renovation plans. Bathroom with shutter style door and a very odd shutter window that opens to the bed does not provide privacy. Our sink faucet leaked water from where it attached to countertop. Looks as if it had a makeshift fix with a red washer on it to help, but didnt. Water leaked from the base of the faucets onto the countertop creating a collection of water puddles that would grow. We just put a wash cloth there to absorb. This was a mere annoyance, and no biggie, and I did forget to mention at checkout so the next person in the room wouldn’t have it. ⚠️ Only situation I CAUTION people about: The attached walkway over the road to the beach was great, until I got stuck in the elevator! I was stuck in the elevator on the beach side of the road, as I was heading back into the hotel overpass. No AC inside of it and very hot! I rang alarm bell. Also tried to call for help from what I thought was an intercom inside, but didn’t look like that even worked, to get someone’s attention. It was stuck and no matter how you’d swipe your card to get out, the doors wouldn’t open. “Happens sometimes” was what I was told as a bunch of hotel staff came to help me. I was asked many times if I was ok, and offered water. Everyone was very helpful and attentive to the situation making sure I was ok. As I got out. Spending a few hours on the beach, I was already hot, and the hot elevator was stifling, so I must’ve looked pretty exhausted! I did appreciate the concern. I think I was in there about 10 mins or a bit less but the heat in there made it unbearable on a hot day. Thank you for the concern and help. A person waiting for the elevator had told me they were going to get help from the front desk. Thank you to them as well, as I think I would’ve been in there much longer, had they not! The next day I was at the pool, and heard the alarms go off from what sounded like the beach elevator side of the connector . I alerted the towel person, as that sound was all too familiar to me. Turned out to be an elderly couple trapped in that same beach elevator as I was the previous day. They were walking through the pool area with maintenance staff after finally getting help and getting out as I saw them. They too, said how hot it was stuck in there. We both said we’d cross the street from now on instead of taking a chance on that elevator! Needless to say, the next few days service to that elevator by the beach was out, and we observed maintenance to it at night outside for a while. Ironically, one of the hotel’s lobby elevators was out of service for our entire stay as well. The hotel is definitely working on renovating and updating. We would stay here again, regardless. Personally, I will avoid the elevator to beach access after my experience. I’ll take a chance on crossing the road , even though that crosswalk pedestrian light doesn’t work!

I booked one night via HotelTonight. At check in, I was provided a room in the South Tower, only to find out that the room they provided me was already occupied.. SUPER SCARY AND CONCERNING. Luckily the occupants had a "Do Not Disturb" sign hanging so I didn't enter (though my key card DID work - I wanted to test their mistake). Keep in mind that this is a Stand Your Ground state, so this could have been quite the unnecessary disaster. I go back all the way down to the front desk and I was provided a new room just across the hall from the room I was initially sent to. All I got for this disastrous mistake was 2 "free drink" cards for house wine/well drinks. Yikes. Now, post trip and I've just discovered that the card I provided for incidentals was also charged for the room -- so I was DOUBLE CHARGED since I already paid for this room on HotelTonight weeks before my stay. After realizing the error, I called to get their second charge taken off, was told they couldn't without a manager and that a manager would need to fix it. Now I can't get ahold of anyone for a status. Regarding the stay itself: I only stayed the one night but was really unimpressed and did not find it worth the cost.

This was our first time staying at The Beach House. The beach is private and you get 2 chairs with towels but must pay $30 for an umbrella which we didn't do. Restaurants on site, room service, and drink/food service at the bar! There is kids club where they can color and make crafts on the 6th floor by the pool. Nice break for the adults. Hotel was very clean, jacuzzi tub standard in the rooms with separate shower. Full kitchen but not pots or cooking utensils provided. You must request dishes but they will bring them to your room. It was a great family stay for us but a good hotel for couples as well. Also, I had lobster eggs Benedict and it was the BEST breakfast ive ever had!! So glad I chose this hotel.

I booked a 2-bedroom suite through Chase Travel and received confirmation of this room type. When I arrived for check in around 8pm, I was told my reservation was “updated” to a 1-bedroom suite with no explanation. I still have no idea why it was changed but the hotel and Chase both blamed each other, and I spent over an hour at the front desk and on the phone trying to get answers which I never got and I was stuck in the room I did not book. While showing my confirmation emails at the front desk I found an email sent at 12:39pm that same day saying my reservation was updated— I was literally boarding my flight at this time so I had no way to see it. What made this whole thing worse was an employee of this hotel told me that I was notified of the change and I had “ample time to rectify with the booking company,” which was both untrue and incredibly frustrating!! How about just apologizing instead of telling me I had ample time to fix something that I shouldn’t have had to even worry about. I shouldn’t have to “fix” a reservation I already had confirmed. The pool and hot tub are beautiful and they are both handicap accessible. There are waitstaff that will serve you in the pool. The property offers a fill service spa as well as a custom cart rental for beach cruising. As guest of the Conrad you are also provided complimentary chairs and umbrella services on the beach and there is a beverage and snack bar for your convenience. A standard sized High room with two King beds. Not the largest room in the world, but still new comfortable, beds and well-appointed. Oceanfront facing could not complain. Second room was one of their Suites which was absolutely breathtaking. Wrap around views with multiple balconies. So much space. Brand new beds and very clean facilities. We ordered room service for breakfasts and dinners itarrived within 40 minutes, everything was fresh hot and very tasty. I travel a lot and I've had very disappointing in-room dining over the years at very nice hotels and resorts. Every single staff member was friendly on the beach to the Bellman's. The door was opened every time you entered the hotel personally. I just can't knock the place. One of the better Marriotts I've ever stayed at. There may be bigger fancy-looking newer hotels. But this place hits the spot. Quietly nestled down at the end of the town near the harbor. The only hotel with direct Beach access. They have been open for years and they know their business. I’ve been going to this Marriott since the early 1980s. I have not been here for many years. My GF and I decided to do a 24 hour mini vacation. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. It was like a monsoon. We decided to make the best of it and knew we were gonna enjoy our time so we continued on our first interaction was with Rose at the front desk. We went up to our room and we’re disappointed to find it was not cleaned very well at all. The towels were torn. The sheets had holes in them. That being said the hotel is on the beach has amazing views and they do compensate for a lot. We went down for lunch. They were not very busy. There were two dirty tables, which were the only tables left that we could eat at and we stood up by one of them for quite a bit before somebody came over and asked us what we needed and eventually cleaned the table and let us sit down Customer Service at this point is lacking big time I will say the food was good though and thanks to Rose. We had a free glass of wine which was greatly needed. Although it was slightly raining outside, we decided to go down to the beach and walk and just sit on the lounge chairs. It was just a necessity. We grabbed a couple towels from the towel shack where there was a kid sitting there on his phone. When we were done, we walked through the sand up to the part where they place a mat down so that you can put your shoes on and walk up to the hotel without dragging sand everywhere. Both of us stood there, wiping all the sand off of our feet and putting our shoes back on. (We were in jeans!) when we finished, I asked the kid in the towel shack where we could put our wet towels. He proceeded to point about 15 feet away to the bins and said oh I see you just wiped off your feet so there’s also other bins up at the pool area if you want to put them there. So in other words, he never offered to take our towels from us yet he sat there and watched us wiping off our feet and as guests expected us to carry two sopping, wet towels, each all the way up the path and to the pool area to put in bins this was completely unacceptable and unexpected given our treatment so far we decided not to stay in the hotel for dinner and left for a lovely restaurant and had a nice evening. We were able to sit on the beach in the morning. It was not sunny, but it was a nice temperature out and very enjoyable when we came back up to the room. We asked the cleaning stuff for a few extra hand towels so that we could shower and wash up before checking out When I open my hand towel. It was dirty just one more piece of the puzzle. The 3030 crafts each individual plate as if they are cooking for you personally. The flavor profiles and presentation for each dish is beyond words. If you are a foodie and/or enjoy great food, hopefully you may be lucky enough to have Chef Bret come to your table to speak with you. Chef Bret will then share how your food was made and the details that go into each and every dish. The beach service with Jean and Rolph was amazing as well, and there are many other employees names I am forgetting , but the ones I have named stand out and will make your vacation unforgettable. I had two staff members walk in on my partner in the room despite having a sign for do not disturb. I mentioned this at checkout looking to get some kind of discount or speak to a manager and the staff's response was mostly just an "oh that's too bad". The toilet and shower weren't great, you had to call in for ice and sometimes it would take about an hour plus just to get it (multiple calls). Towels and bedding were rough, you have to pay for breakfast, they hide the luggage carts and when I was checking out I had to call for one to be brought up. Waited like 20 minutes and then just decided to walk it down by hand. You'd think for a place so seemingly bougie they would have better customer care/service but I guess that's just an illusion. I personally wouldn't stay at this location if in the state & city. I would suggest one of the cheaper hotels around that area also near the beach. And the location is nice ...But that area and their beach is not great for swimming. Just going down a bit further to Pompano beach is a much better choice if you want to spend time on a nice beach.

For the price it’s not worth it. I gave service 2 stars because the maintenance team deserves 4 stars for trying but the front desk was trying to up charge everything. You could walk to the port but you can’t get to any restaurants without a 20 minute walk trying to navigate many ramps, unless you eat at the Hilton. The front desk was not helpful trying to say what’s around besides their restaurants.

The Italian restaurant inside I found overpriced and nothing special. After all of this I got no compensation for the issues. The overall stay was cool could’ve been a lot better! If you don’t mind staying amongst local residents (like apartment living) this is the place for you! Unfortunately, I don’t and this was my fault for not thinking clearly when I saw Hawthorne extended stay. The check in process was a breeze! The lobby was nice and clean! Guest services were good. I did have to request bedding for the sleeper sofa. I didn’t like that bc it’s a room with such accommodations and should be ready for use regardless if the guests need it or not. There were a lot of imperfections with the room. The paint is chipping off the doors. The renovations were poorly done! The bathroom is small and the overall room is small. I did have an incident and housekeeping went above and beyond to clean up my mess. So I definitely appreciate that! Let’s talk parking…. Main parking is limited if you want to park close to your room. We noticed at night there were no parking spaces available. There is an overflow for parking but that’s just too risky. The overall atmosphere is not the best, there are a lot of locals that hang out around the property. The pool area was nice, the pool just seemed unattractive the water was too low. The breakfast was decent basic breakfast options. Now before I leave we did see roaches inside room 204 just a heads up! Also the iron didn’t work. This stay is a 5/10 wouldn’t recommend!

I stayed here for a convention recently. First off, you can’t beat the location and price. Budget friendly and near a lot of shops and restaurants. It was super close to the convention center so it was a win for me. Next, and this was my experience, the staff were super friendly. My flight got cancelled because of a storm so I needed to stay an extra day. Alex at the front helped me extend my stay (no pun intended) easily so that I didn’t have to change rooms or get price gouged. Went back out into the parking lot to reserve and pay online then they ask for an 85 dollar deposit on both rooms which isn't supposed to be taken out unless we took something. The refrigerator is on the floor. I had to ask for towels then was given bathmats instead. Had to make my own bed there was roaches and heavily scented. Smells like someone bought a bottle of axe and sprayed every floor. It lingers and is very LOUD takes your breathe away at first. Went to the pool area and there was 💩 all around it at the edge and the hot tub. I wish I could be the housekeeping manager because it definitely wouldn't look like that. Staff at front didn't have no hospitality mannerisms. It took almost a hour to check in after all that. This could be a beautiful hotel if it was ran right. I ran and managed a hotel in Panama City Beach and this is not how you conduct business in this industry.

You are on a main road, car and emergency vehicle noise is inevitable. My room had a pull out couch, king bed, desk area mini fridge and closet. All was clean and looked new. Bathroom shower was a tub with pump soaps and shampoos. Breakfast is not included with the price I paid. But there was an icemachine on the floor and it worked! Someone mentioned the walls are thin and they area and it echos in the hallway but I didn't have an issue sleeping. The pool was clean and the water was warm, it does sit on the road side of the hotel but it wasn't as noisy as you would have thought. I dont remeber seeing a hot tub but there are lounge chairs, and outdoor tables, chairs umbrellas and a fire pit table. The most unfortunately thing that happened is on my last morning, I woke up to a roach crawling on my bed. And I know roaches were mention in other comments. It was brought to the front desk.

I do like the part where the staff do a vibe check.Just check to see if everything's okay. It's an older place, but it's in a very quiet and safe neighborhood in Ft Lauderdale. Some stuff needs to be updated, but for what you pay for your getting yourself a good deal. You're less than 10 minutes from the beach if your driving, restaurants everywhere and a strip mall before you get to the property. Do keep in mind there staff has limited hours and the pool isn't on site it's down the street, but the staff will show you were it's located if you ask them. Staff was nice to me for my needs. Stayed several times as I have to visit my doctors there regularly and I live 4 hrs away. All stays were great except one caused by a noisy neighbor. My last reservation was made a month in advance and canceled a day or two later...still a month out. The guy in the office said there's no penalty to cancel that far in advance, but the hotel kept $13.39 from my original deposit anyway. Not good business, so I stay somewhere else now.
