Instead of acknowledging the mistake on the website, FOH staff were dismisive and argumentative. Upon arrival, was informed that one room is a double twin bed and the other is a king bed, but could be split into two. This wasn’t the case at all. We were told that smoking is not allowed in the rooms, but one of the rooms had a bad odor of cigarettes and the smell as well was carried across the lobby as soon as you come out the elevator. The WiFi is extremely terrible, and the rooms are very cramped with little to no included amenities or perks. One of the rooms refrigeration unit is broken, so we can’t even store anything as far as snacks or drinks. Only two water bottles were provided in the rooms, and one of the rooms has a really bad crack from the ceiling down to the baseboard against the wall. The location is super inconvenient for access to the haram, there is a shuttle bus, but it takes you to a car park/bus park station which then you are required to catch another bus. The shuttle from the hotel isn’t 24 hours either and cuts off after 11pm. For a 5 star rated hotel, this truly isn’t the experience I was anticipating at all. Reading the reviews here also, mixed batch of guest complaining about the same things. There is nothing great around here besides masjid Aisha right next door which is awesome, but if you are traveling for ummrah or to be at the haram frequently through out your trip, don’t book here. Considering checking out early and finishing our trip else where. Family next door has kids and they are screaming and yelling. What kind of establishment is this? Will not return here. Now let’s talk about location , definitely not for elderly or any one requiring wheelchair as it is on higher ground and coming back is a huge problem and have seen people struggling with wheel chair as it needed to be pushed against upward slope but for persons not requiring assistance it’s an easy couple of minutes walk and has to cross a road and all taxis are available. Access of Masjid is through Fahd gate . One time we are bit late for zuhur and Harum entrance was blocked and were diverted to the extension of Harum towards Gate Abdullah .

First they only have 2 buses, second they promise times of coming for example at 10pm the bus will come to haram but manyy times it neverr comes on time and you have to wait an hour before the next one comes EVEN ON NORMAL DAYS!! Not talking about Fridays which is the busiest day but even on normal days the bus neverrr comes on time. I had to wait with my mom who has knee issue and we are doing tawaf and umrah and all the tiring stuff but they dont care a BIT. 0 hospitality. I stayed in Voco Makkah Hotel last year and its far more better than this hotel. Other hotels even the 3 star ones have manyyy buses which come on time and they dont let Hajjis wait in hot weather for an hour. I see voco and all other buses coming and going everyyy 10-15 minutes but here they make you go CRAZY. Also they dont listen a bit. They will tell you that yes we will bring this and that when you call them and ask them for something. I called them MANY times for room service from TWO days and then finally i had to make myself go to reception and it still didnt come!!
