We were a big group of 10 and we called a couple of hours ahead as it was a last minute plan, and so it took us over an hour to get a table for all of us. The vibes were great; you can see the pizza being baked in the wood-fire oven. Had the margherita pizza and the cream of mushroom pizzas. Margherita was classically lovely, you get what you expect and it was good. The cream of pumpkin was divine and one of the best pizzas I had! I was worried about it being sweet but it was delightfully savoury. Even some of our meat-eating friends said it was the best option on the table! Cirillo‘s was open and not only was the food good it was fantastic. The pizza dough was fluffy with the perfect crunch. We tried the fume and diavola pizzas and they both did not disappoint for people who typically order pepperoni pizza. The appetizers are also good. Don’t miss the shared mozzarella. The wine also great and our server was friendly and gave us a great recommendation for what was going with our food. I definitely wholeheartedly recommend this place and it was worth the wait!

Food arrived in stages and the quality was good in fairness. After ordering a second round of drinks, a further delay ensued so I went to the bar to see what was happening. There was 1 barman on duty and after watching him serve a busy crowd on his own with swift efficiency, I knew the problem didn't lie with him. The machine behind him kept spewing out orders and he did his best to keep on top of everything. I watched as Jasmine tried ask him several times to pour our drinks for the table order but he could only do so much. Enough was enough so I asked to speak with the manager. She was on a break I was informed. Eventually she returned from her break and I explained what had happened. Her response was to blame the faulty equipment and that despite how under pressure the single barman and floor staff were, she was entitled to her 10 minute break. During my time at the bar, I had not set eyes on her for over 25 minutes. We wanted a calzone but the options on the menu were meat based, however, when asked if they could possibly do a vegan one, Tegan, our waitress, was very accomodating and we were able to get a vegan calzone. I was absolutely amazing by the size of our mains - the pizza was enormous! I had ordered one of the specials, a seafood spaghetti and was blown away by the volume and variety of seafood and it was all cooked perfectly. To give you an idea there were 2 scallops, 4 prawns and enough muscles that it would have been a good portion for a starter on their own. Everything was perfectly cooked and very enjoyable. Please book plenty in advance to avoid disappointment.
