We had squid ink pasta with prawns and clams. We were delighted that not only did it come in good portions, there was an expected and reasonable amount of seafood in my plate. Not singular piece of seafood like our prior bad experience in Lisbon. In fact, not only did the quantity feels right, the prawns were FRESH and Sweet! They even threw in extra peeled shrimps in addition to the big prawns. We finished every bit of it! This is what decency in business meant. I should've seen this coming because when I was asking for carbonara the waiter asked me if I wanted cream or not, well given that this restaurant is attempting to be a true to form Italian restaurant, I told them absolutely not, just traditional carbonara with egg, pecorino (or parma/grana), black pepper and guanciale. No sense in getting big shards of cheese on top as it's a hard cheese and it doesn't integrate with the dish, the shards were better suited for an entree of cheese than to be sitting on top of the pasta.
