The beer is amazing! I really enjoy getting the flights and trying all the beer available. I think it’s the best way to figure out what you like and then follow your favorites on future visits. We did order a scoop of ice cream for dessert to finish it all off (and help with the garlic lol). But it was a fun experience in a really cute, smallish downtown area and would like to try it again. He showed up 15 minutes ahead of schedule which wouldn’t have happened if the wings were actually deep fried. For $50.00 with which included an addition $5 delivery fee, I’ll keep my business with Joey’s at 727 Mendocino.

The menu has some wonderful specialty pizzas and the flavor combinations sounded amazing. We opted for a 1/2 Gios Garlic Supreme and 1/2 Polli's Perfect both were wonderful and we really liked the crust. My favorite was the Gios Garlic because the white sauce was amazing! The toppings are plentiful and fresh too! So many things to try on this menu if we lived in the area this would be our pizza place. They even bring real plates and silverware if you're eating in and they boxed up our left overs too! We ordered a large Sandy‘s combo, no olives baked at the restaurant. At first glance, I thought the toppings would be overwhelming however they complemented each other well. It could’ve used a little more ranch but that’s our only complaint! Overall, we spent about $40 for a small pizza (8-10 slices), a large house salad for 2, and a beer. The crust was great but the pizza was so incredibly salty and the toppings (other than the onions and mushrooms) seemed like they were either previously frozen or had been sitting in containers for a few days. The ranch dressing sides tasted like watered down mayonaise, which didn't help. I hope the owners see and take in the honest reviews...don't cut corners, you can taste the difference!
