We were just blown away by our experience at Monsterella tonight. It looked really busy when we parked, but we were able to be seated at a set of bar seats right away. We tried the fennel sausage, the spicy Diablo, and the artichoke, and each one was fantastic with its own distinct character. All of the staff were lovely and super welcoming and the atmosphere was super vibrant! I’ve given 4 stars because of the Tiramisu. I ordered the tiramisu for dessert and received the dessert in a paper cup. I was confused as I felt like the presentation could’ve been much better than what it was. I decided not to eat the tiramisu as I paid $14 for it and wasn’t happy with what I had received. In all honesty it felt like I had just been served dessert from a McDonald’s. The staff accepted my request and were super polite about the whole thing. I understand that this is how they serve their tiramisu and it could’ve been the best tiramisu I’d ever tried but for the price and as it came, I felt that it could’ve been presented in a dish at least. Again, the food, staff and restaurant were beautiful and I definitely recommend this to others!

Meals were quite quick to come out. No table service. Staff were quick and curious. Free parking on site only about 10 vehicles but should be free street parking if need on side streets. Love they have Birra Moretti on draft. I like they are open between lunch and dinner. We had cocktails at the candlelit bar before moving to the restaurant for our dinner reservation. The waitstaff were delightful from start to finish, Amar and Senen in particular. The highlights were the Wood-Fired Scallops which were incredibly impressive, and the steak which was expensive but worth the price. The wine list is extensive, but still user friendly and organised well into varietals and regions. Easy to see why it is award-winning. Easily one of the best pizza experiences we’ve had in Perth. The dough was spot on — light, airy, with that perfect balance of chew and crispness. The pizza was amazing, the dough was exactly as it should be and the cheese was proper tasty cheese, not some plastic processed product, and even though the pizza was served super hot, it kept its integrity and the ingredients didn't turn the center into soup. A special mention for the antipasto dish - great selection of cured meats and an actually adequate amount of olives (it grinds my gears when I get served three and a half olives in a sad little dish, why even bother)! If I were to be particularly nitpicky, I'd say that I'd enjoy some pesto or at least more basil leaves with the caprese salad, but it was still delicious. I pre-ordered the meals which were served on time soon after we arrived. The staff were very friendly and helpful and helped us store the two tier cake, cut the cake professionally and serve them to the guests. The food was fantastic and the service was great. We had some who were vegetarians and one of us was lactose intolerant and they prepared food to serve us all. Would highly recommend and will organise another dinner here, especially if you are looking for a great venue on a Monday night!
