My family and I checked out Scoops n’ Slices at the end of August. We started our adventure with some pizza. The walk in special is a great value. The staff was accurate about the time our order would be ready and we were able to go view the locks while the pizza was in the oven. Our kids loved the soft and crispy dough. Mom and dad enjoyed the amount of toppings. Afterwards we got some ice cream. The service was friendly and super quick. We chatted with different staff members and they were ready to answer questions, joke around with our kids, and make the outing a fun experience.

Absolutely amazing pizza! I typically call to place an order when I leave my cottage so when I arrive it’s ready or close to it and their pizza NEVER disappoints! Great sauce, lots of toppings and perfect crust! The only real downside is that they aren’t open in the offseason. Fantastic food and amazing service. The atmosphere is calming and homey. The portion sizes are large, and they have changing daily specials, which are always a nice surprise! It's my new favorite in Lindsay, and honestly, it's worth the trip from out of town just to visit this restaurant.
It's also worth noting that this precious piece of heaven has a Suspended Meal Program which allows them to give back to their community on a daily basis. Not many places do this anymore, and the fact they do so at such reasonable prices is phenomenal.

If anyone knows me, they know I love supporting local businesses and this place deserves all the business they get.
It has such a homey and welcoming atmosphere and the family that runs the place are so nice but also funny. They made the entire experience that much better.
They have an extensive menu and I loved that they had bottomless tea and coffee. They clearly have regulars too.
One thing was so nice was they gave me a free butter tart as I was visiting from out to town to celebrate my birthday.

We stumbled upon this pizza joint on our way to Algonquin Provincial Park, and based on the online reviews, it seemed like a popular spot. The place had an open kitchen with a cozy small-town vibe, located right beside a small lake—perfect for grabbing a pizza to go. We went for weekend near felelon falls and found this pizza place. It was actual good if we consider it’s location and winter season. Their crust was average and sauce was normal but their cheese was different and it was actually tasting good. Try it hot directly from oven, else you won’t like it much.
Also, they only accept cash, the place do have atm, but will charge extra on your withdrawal, so better arrange cash and go.

What can I say! 10 out of 10. Stopped in on the way home to try a slice. I was first impressed with the friendly customer service, then even more impressed with the price point. We live in a world of food uncertainty, so it's completely understandable to see raising food cost. However 7.75 for a huge slice and a can of pop is unheard off. Then I got to my car and tried the slice. There was flavor throughout the whole slice. What magic do they put in that dough? By far one of the best pizza I've experienced. I 100 percent will be returning to try the entire menu. 10 out of 10 doesn't give this place justice.

This place makes such a delicious pizza I've made four take out orders within ten days of it reopening. My favourite pizza ever and it ain't even close.
Toppings: plentiful, high quality and appropriately distributed. The pineapple had the right crunch, but wasn't soggy. The bacon was healthy pieces, cooked to perfection. Ham chucks were diced finely enough that there was a little in every bite and they didn't overpower either of the other toppings.
Crust: Goldilocks style - not too crispy, not too doughy, juuuust right. Not too thick, not too thin, it was the precise thickness required to give you a satisfying crunch without being burnt. Sturdy enough that when you hold it one handed it doesn't flop all over. Look in my photos for how perfectly browned it was around the edges.

Went in today to take advantage of the 2-Piece Combo for $4.99 deal they had going on. Place was very clean, service was excellent, and the food was amazing! I absolutely LOVE pizza. I happened to be eyeballing a co-workers pizza in the lunchroom; It was Hawaiian and looked loaded with toppings! They offered to share a slice so I threw it on a napkin and reheated it in the microwave.
This Hawaiian slice was 10/10. I can only imagine what a knockout it would be fresh from the source, piping hot out the oven. It was cheesy, loaded with toppings and the crust held well without being super crunchy and overcooked.

I had to attend Lindsay court this morning and thought I’d get a quick bagel at the McDonald’s. Went through the drive-through ordered the typical sausage bagel and asked for bacon as well As noted on the receipt $1.69 for additional bakon strips and received the bagel and drove off.

SLOWEST DRIVE THRU! I have never experienced another location that is this bad for the speed of their drive thru. Haven’t even moved in 10 minutes but I can’t leave the line because I’m trapped. And I’m still 7 cars back. And that’s with two lanes going. Last time I was in the drive thru for 20 minutes before I could order. No apology for the lack of speed. And this is not a once in a while issue, this is constant. Maybe corporate needs to review their time processing cars and orders. I get it’s busy, but come on.
I would go to another location but this is the only one even close to where I need to go.

Ordered off the value menu mostly plane cheese burgers with the acception of one with ketchup and mayo. A chicken snack wrap and fries
EVery burger had onions and ketchup and one even was missing cheese… the one with ketchup mayo had one random pickle on it… snack wrap had nooo sauce and bread was stale… fries were not salted.. I paid for 4 mayo packs and didn’t get them. This was 10:30 pm so not busy just me and one other person… it’s crazy because the burgers had tickets on them that were CORRECT but the actual burgers itself was wrong.
I know this sounds arbitrary and like a minor inconvenience but it’s not when it happens every single time… not only that, ordering a couple of burgers off the value menu is not cheep anymore. I paid 33$ to be thoroughly disappointed pissed off and still hungry…
All these chain restaurants in Canada need to be inspected for quality of product. Because it’s not just McDonald’s, seems like no one working these jobs are following franchise protocols anymore

Wouldn’t recommend this Tim Hortons. I was on my way home today from bobcaygeon after visiting my grandparents, and wanted to get a steep tea. I ordered a steep tea and donut. The person who took my order, made my “tea”. He even wrote on top st for steeped tea. He said my order out loud for pick up (steep tea with 2 milk one sugar) and when I decided to start drinking it (about 45 minutes into my drive home) it was a coffee. Not a tea. I don’t understand how people can be that careless especially if you just took my order and made it right after. That’s a waste of 2 bucks.

Everytime I go into this location they’re playing some god awful music that I cannot stand. Stopped in the drive thru on my way home from the cottage. I was ‘greeted’ by a gentleman who made it sound like my visit was an inconvenience. Once I reached the window the lady made no efforts to try and reach my phone to scan my points or reach out with the card reader making me have to lean unreasonably far out of my window. After I paid, the manager told me there’s no eggs for my breakfast sandwich and offered scrambled eggs instead which was kind of her but I didn’t opt for it so I asked for a refund for that item. I reordered a bagel to replace my breakfast sandwich and once it was ready, they handed me only a bagel and not my coffee or muffin I had paid for. The attitudes of these employees is honestly not what I wanted first thing in the morning especially when I have a long drive ahead of me. I have never been to a Tim Hortons with this type of customer service, especially from a manager. I would suggest visiting a different coffee shop in the area if you would like to start your day with positivity.

I’m honestly not sure why this KFC location has received so many negative reviews. I truly sympathize with those who may have had disappointing experiences in the past, but mine was completely different and quite positive. I was visiting Lindsay from Toronto on Victoria Day and decided to stop by for lunch. Out of all the KFCs and fried chicken chains I’ve been to over the years, this location actually stands out as one of the best, both in terms of food quality and overall experience.
When I arrived, the restaurant was fairly quiet, which made the atmosphere calm and pleasant. There was just a father with his children and a couple who came in and left before I finished my meal. I placed my order through the app and chose to dine in, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quick and efficient the service was. My food was ready within minutes and brought out fresh and hot.
The chicken was crispy, juicy, and well seasoned. It was definitely fresher than what I’ve come to expect from most fast food places. The pieces were also a good size, and nothing felt overly greasy. The fries were perfectly cooked and still had that slight crisp you hope for, and the coleslaw was chilled, creamy, and refreshing. Altogether, it was a solid and satisfying meal. I ordered the four piece box meal, and for about sixteen dollars, I felt like it was a really fair price for the amount and quality of food I received.
Beyond the food, I was also impressed with how clean the restaurant was. The tables were spotless, the counters were tidy, and the overall environment was well maintained. Even the washrooms were clean, which is something that often gets overlooked in fast food establishments.
All in all, I had a great experience at this KFC. It exceeded my expectations, especially given that many locations tend to offer a fairly average experience. This one was a refreshing exception. I would definitely come back again the next time I’m in Lindsay and would recommend it to anyone passing through who is looking for a quick, tasty, and affordable meal.

Okay, love it or hate it, we all know what KFC is, and what to expect on average. It’s not fine dining. And, as far as KFC locations goes, this Lindsay location is one of the best and most consistent I’ve ever been to, and I’m including Markham, Aurora/Newmarket, Oshawa and Peterborough in that tally.
After using this location regularly for 1.5 years, I can say I’ve never had a bad meal - some better than others, but their worst days here is most locations’ good days. They’ve only got an order wrong once, but on average they err on the side of being more generous than less, so I wasn’t concerned.
My biggest complaint is they can be slow, but the chicken is also typically a lot fresher than I’m used to from KFC. I’m not sure why this location has such a low rating, but in my experience that’s not deserved.

I haven't been to a Mr Sub in a very long time. I happened to be in the neighborhood and decided to stop by for something different. Overall my experience was positive. The store was clean and there were plenty of staff on hand. The pricing isn't terrible and seems to be a bit less than other chain sandwich shops.
I ordered the smoked meat sandwich. Overall it wasn't bad but I don't think I would order it again. The portion size for the meat seemed fairly small. It was a bit off putting seeing them throw the meat in the microwave to heat it up.

Went in today and got a "peppery chicken Ceasar" told the lady just put everything that comes on it then had to tell her that ceasar dressing probably goes on it. Our waitress was nice enough. She seemed like she was a new employee at the restaurant.
I ordered the BIG BREAKFAST and I was not impressed at all with the portion. It was two meals that we got charged separate for instead of on one bill. We also waited our whole meal just for a refill of coffee and it was not busy in there. I do believe that things have changed here over the years. Previously several years ago they didn’t accept coupons via the subway app. Now it seems they accept them all which is wonderful.
I’ve had orders in the past that were disappointing.

I walked in to placed a order asked for specific things because of allergies etc. Got walk in special with thick crust extra sauce and two mushroom panzorottis. Panzos were so soggy I couldn't eat it the pizza was normal crust normal sauce. We asked for no cornmeal on the Panzos and there was some normal amount I would say. Anyhow I called to talk to customer service the same night I didn't have my reciept on hand and they tried to look up my order but cooling find it. Told me to call back when I had my reciept I said it wouldn't be for a couple of days as I was on route with other people and my reciept was probably in my car. Anyhow i called when I got back to my car and the man on the phone said it's to late we can only fix the problem the same day the order was placed I explained my story and he still said same thing after I said I did call the same day just didn't have my reciept so that should count. They didn't do anything to comp my one meal and now the has me never wanting to order from there again and had lead to this review. No customer service sorry isn't going to get my money back or a new Panzo.. Pics to follow cus I am that person.

10/10 to DQ Lindsay for an food allergy masterclass yesterday! Incredible level of care and professionalism from the kitchen and front staff.
Daughter has egg, milk and nut allergies so takeout food is basically impossible. After carefully reviewing the online nutrition menu, it turns out DQ original hamburgers are safe for our family. Which means that cross contamination from other items is going to be the only risk.
I explain all of this to the cashier. She explains it to the kitchen. Person preparing the food immediately washes her hands. After its prepared, she tells a third person who is packing the bags "wash your hands before you pack those, food allergies". We loved this!
It's difficult - in a world full of complainers and picky-just-because customers, explaining the extreme levels of diligence and care required for food allergies feels like more whining. DQ handled things so effortlessly we didn't even effect the queue!
Super duper appreciate the care and the actual food was delicious. Both kids ate two each!
But yes, agree with the other reviews - this place desperately needs an update / overhaul in terms of facilities.

I went into Wendy's with my family the other day, and all was going well, until we went to get our drinks. I don't know what has happened to the drink dispenser since the last time I was here, but it lags VERY badly. The only options we found were to either wait the abysmally long time for the option to appear on screen, or use the stupid new QR code thing. This Dominos used to be the best pizzeria in town but unfortunately, my recent experience has left me greatly disappointed. It very much feels like discrimination against the disabled. I called the store and they say it is because they got some counterfeit bills and some tennents were difficult. Went here the other day to get a fresh pizza. It was really good, the slices there though did not look fresh. I don’t like reviewing unless I’m beyond thrilled or beyond disgusted.. unfortunately it’s the later.
I love trying small business baked goods, looking at the reviews from years ago it looks like the bakery used to be a really great spot. My daughter looked at the baked goods when we arrived and said that “ it all looked old”, I told her to shhh and that it’s a little bakery, so it’s got to be fresh.

Quaint little place. It's like they couldn't decide what they wanted to be. It says antiques on the door but it was more like a mini gift shop bakery that sells mediocre pizzas. Came here after a drive back from the cottage in Coboconk. Food was great, a bit more on the pricier side than I was expecting to pay this far out of the city but worth it. This is the most I've ever been disappointed in a sandwich I've received from this Subway location. I have worked in a sub shop previously, and we all know there is an amount of each ingredient that we are supposed to go by when making a sub. But you never outright refuse a paying customer on wanting more, it's just downright disrespectful and looks bad on the store. Fortunately the owners are never like this, both my brother and I have had good experiences with them every time. But unfortunately for them, this employee is sub par.

I recently visited Godfather’s Pizza and was incredibly disappointed by the complete lack of professionalism and organization from the staff. From the moment I walked in, there was no greeting, no acknowledgment just awkward silence. It felt more like walking into someone’s garage than a functioning restaurant. Customers are left sitting there not knowing what’s going on, and you can’t even pay until your food is done. No direction, no communication, nothing.
The staff clearly aren’t properly trained. The new employee was left alone to handle pizzas by herself, visibly confused and unsure of what to do, while another staff member was in the bathroom for over 10 minutes. Meanwhile, no one was assisting her or the customers.
To make things worse, the pizza slices in the heater looked old, dry, and downright gross. I have photo proof showing how unappetizing and stale they looked — it was honestly shocking that they would still offer that to customers.
This place needs serious improvement in staff training, communication, and professionalism. It shouldn’t feel like a group of friends casually making food behind the counter — it should be run like an actual business. I won’t be returning unless major changes are made.

I don’t know what the new management is doing but they are doing it right, I don’t normally leave reviews but this place deserves it. Me and my family have been coming here for awhile now and we have all noticed an amazing change in not only the food itself but the service and physical state of the restaurant. The dough is wonderful, not to hard but not soggy, the sauce is always perfectly balanced along the entire pizza, toppings are perfect, not too much where its hard to handle but just the right amount where you get all the flavours. I rarely leave reviews, but after my experience at Godfather’s, I felt it was necessary to share. The level of unprofessionalism displayed by the manager, Carissa, was honestly shocking.
During my visit, I witnessed Carissa treating one of her employees with open disrespect, raising her voice and making snide remarks in front of customers. What made it even more uncomfortable was the way she looked at me mid-incident, as if expecting me to side with her or validate her behavior. It was clear she was trying to shift blame onto her employee, which I found both disgusting and incredibly unprofessional.
Her attitude made it very obvious that she does not take her role seriously. This wasn’t just a one-off moment of stress, it was a pattern. She was equally rude to other customers and came off cold and dismissive the entire time I was there. There was no effort to create a welcoming environment. Instead, the energy she brought into that space made everyone feel on edge.
A manager sets the tone for a workplace, and in this case, the tone is toxic. Godfather’s has potential, but with someone like Carissa at the helm, I can’t recommend it. No customer or employee deserves to be treated like that.
I come to Godfather’s regularly, and I’ve had a few experiences now with the manager Carissa that are seriously making me reconsider coming back. Not only is she rude to both staff and customers, but the times she’s made my food, it’s been noticeably worse compared to when other employees prepare it—sloppy, rushed, and just not the same quality.
What really bothers me is how unprofessional she acts. She’s openly disrespectful to her team, and it creates a really uncomfortable vibe for everyone. After multiple visits where this has happened, I’m honestly disturbed by her attitude and how she handles her position. If this continues, I don’t see myself returning.

I generally love Quesada, but was very disappointed with this visit. My son ordered the Birria burrito, which is almost $6 more than the standard burritos. $16 for a small burrito is bad enough, but to add insult to injury they limit you to only 2 toppings, only onions and cilantro. We stumbled upon the 7&46 Shop while driving and craving some chip truck fries. We were pleasantly surprised by the menu and delighted to find a hidden oasis in the back. The place not only served delicious food but also offered a variety of craft beers at their little bar. It had a stage for performers and games to entertain guests, making it an ideal spot to visit.

I have ordered here at the Lindsay location by Doordash. Past I had ordered the Turkey Sub and recently had the Great Canadian Club, footlong, with the Habanero jack cheese instead of the cheddar. I do like the sandwich here and I will say like others that the footlong has definitely shrunk. My only issue is the sauce is usually in the opening of the bread so in the sandwich you don't get much of the sauce. Otherwise, I much preferred the Turkey Sandwich but, the ingredients on either sandwich were fresh. I would recommend to visit this location and see if the sandwich is good or not.

I had a really bad experience at this location. I asked for extra veggies, and the amount given was barely anything. I kept politely asking for more, but the employee started getting annoyed and eventually refused, saying there was a limit. I understand portion guidelines, but other locations have never had an issue adding extra when asked.
