Id done some research on this restaurant before we came to try it, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. They have a decent selection of local beer, a big, dog friendly outdoor area and excellent service. Our waitress was super nice and did a fantastic job. Where the place falls flat is the food. My wife and I both ordered burgers. I got mine with fries and she got onion rings. Everything came out burnt. All of it. And it took forever to get it. The burgers were dry, tough and well charred. They weren’t so much burgers as burnt offerings. The fries were cooked hard. But the onion rings really took the overcooking game to the next level. I’ve never attended culinary school, and I’ve never worked at a Michelin Starred restaurant, but I’m pretty sure onion rings shouldn’t be black. So if you’re just looking for a place to unwind, hang out with friends and have drink, then I highly recommend this place. What I don’t recommend is ingesting anything that comes out of the kitchen.
