You get what you pay for. All you can eat chicken, including fried chicken livers and gizzards, fish, country style green beans, turnip greens, cornbread, green salad, pea salad that tasted like canned peas, mashed potatoes and gravy, plus more sides. I have regularly visited this location almost weekly for the past 2 months. Really decent slams, and way better with their Melts and Burgers. Don’t pass up the milkshakes either, they are pretty fire. French Toast is to die for. But as for the SERVICE, come ANY other time than night because you’ll be stuck there forever trying to even just order food. I’ve been forgotten by a server for 20+ minutes, and I’ve even had to wave at these people for service another time after waiting 15-20 mins (It was like I didn’t exist.). I’ve been in and out of here quicker during the mornings and daytimes, and will probably be dining then. I’ve been better acknowledged and taken care of in less time on these shifts. I get it’s not fast food, but for comparison, my morning/day visits are like a solid 40 minutes, while it’s nearly an hour or more of waiting at night. If you think I’m being harsh, I’ve given these servers nothing but patience, kindness, and delightful tips like any other place. Good customers do at least wait on good food, and I learned that being in the industry myself. Don’t diss this Denny’s entirely. Just go at the right time for the optimal service.
