The bread bowl was delicious though! Service was good. Staff was very friendly and attentive to our questions and kind. When we entered inside their was a nasty stench that flooded the building so we sat outside so we didn’t have to smell it and only 1 of their outdoor heaters worked. So we ate in the cold because that heater was serving another guest and we weren’t in proximity of it to feel much. The other 2/3 of them didn’t work. She decided on Pegs, and I'm a huge breakfast fan so I heartily agreed. At first look, it was your standard diner layout, clean if a little compact walkways. Overall though, no complaints. The service was outstanding, the young lady had a smile on her face the entire time we were there. Drinks were always ready, and we always felt like we were a valued customer. My wife had the Belgian waffle, with a side of sausage and eggs. I tried the sausage and it was possible the best I've had in a decade, it was 6oz, thick, juicy and cooked perfectly. I had the pancakes and bacon with eggs. Unfortunately the bacon was much less than the sausage, it wasn't bad, just tasted like thin precooked bacon. However, the drink... fresh... squeezed.. oj... it was a bit more expensive than I would of liked at 7 dollars, but man was it good. The food was plentiful and tasted great, it is a bit pricier than a standard diner. With that being said though, the service and quality of food didn't make me think I was eating money. My biggest issue was parking, unfortunately being disabled I look at the parking, the handicap spots seem to be near a door thats no longer used anymore as opposed to being close to the entrance. Is not horrible, just an inconvenience really. Overall, I highly suggest getting some morning grub here, you won't be disappointed.

I asked someone that knows the area best for restaurant suggestions. This was his first mention, so I decided to check it out. Upon my arrival, I was impressed with the environment. I liked the antique and outdoorsy look. The western decor coupled with quaint lighting and some music (not so loud) gave me a welcomed feeling. Place is clean, at least in the dining area, we didn't use the restrooms. The server greeted us with haste and warmth. But the icing on the cake, the food! We ordered mozzarella sticks and buffalo wings as appetizers. Both tasted great. Although, I would have added more of the buffalo sauce to the wings, as a personal preference, it was still delicious. I got the opportunity to try their regular fries and their sweet potato fries. Normally I would say I prefer sweet potato fries, but in this case, the regular fries are better. Of course, that is not saying that the sweet potato fries weren't good. As far are drinks go, I was pleasantly surprised that they have pineapple juice, and it did not disappoint. Their strawberry lemonade is also good. My family all seemed to love what they ordered, too. I think the only thing that was not perfect was that my fish in the Fish & Chips basket was a little burnt. I don't know if that's normal for them to do but, at least, it didn't taste bad. Lastly, let's talk prices. In my opinion, things were not expensive. There are plenty of places where you will pay more for food that is less tasty. Oh, and they provided a military discount, which is always a plus. I have to say, I hadn't had a good enough experience to really talk about in a while. It was really nice to finally get great food. I'm really glad I did! I ordered the castle peak cold sandwich with combo bagel. The sandwich was spectacular. Customers service was great although it took a minute to make but it was worth it. When asked she said no, the price always was the higher amount. The small amount had to do with a custom order of getting a triple patty burger so I can see the confusion. She charged for double with extra patty even when I ordered the triple patty they had advertised. This was one isolated instance out of 3 great visits eating inside within the month. There were other people in the lobby eating their food so I politely told her we would leave after we eat. I dont know what her problem was but she should be reprimanded for being so rude. I've only had two things because i've only been there.Twice with amazing service and amazing food. The first was a steak quesadilla, and because the steak was so amazing.I chose to have a steak burrito and again.They did not disappoint. The carrot mixture they have is also super delicious.
