Menudo was good I will give them that not to hot but good. My brother in law showed up and ordered coffee and the tall girl still hadn't put more coffee on. So my husband asked why are you selling coffee if you haven't made more and you knew you barely had enough for ours she was quiet. Took a while to come take the coffee thermos back to make more. She gave him half a cup of coffee to my brother in law we waited 10 minutes if not more for more coffee to be made. Unfortunately the the food would've been bomb if it was served at the right temperature and it was drained from so much grease. It was so greasy that the rice and beans were greasy from that. Unfortunately I know this will probably not reach the people it should. But I hope it does so they can better serve their customers. I did however purchased flour tortillas to bring home. The short girl took care of me and was a little more friendly. But where we sat we could see then doing something in the kitchen and the tall one kind of looked at us and was saying something to the short girl. I think that was very rude but we kept it courteous and I still got a bean taco for my daughter and thanked them. Of customer service is better and food is actually hot and right temperature then we will be back. But we didn't return any food items as we know what happens when people return food. It may not happen here but you never know.

Did she entirely forget about of prior conversation, so I had to get it redone. I reexplaine that I cant handle too much caffen and that it had more caffeine than their coffe. The remade version was better but it still had to much caffen and that point I was done. I just accepted it and tried to like it. Then, I just trew it away because I couldn't bring myself to like it. Not worth it. As for my friend, she got a coconut milk boba and that was the most water down coconut milk I have ever tried. An absolute disappointment. I would rather buy the milk boba packets you can get in stores. They taste so much better than what you get there. Plus, they don't cause stomach aches. Would not recommend.

Then we were watching an episode of Undercover Boss this afternoon and the CEO of Taco Bueno Mike Roper was on it. What a great guy! Watching that episode made me and hubby want to give Taco Bueno another chance & so we did. I had the Taco Salad (pictured below) and hubby got the Taco plate (not pictured because he devoured it before I could snap a photo, lol). It all was really good 👍service included. The ingredients are super fresh, but the white sauce definitely makes the plate special. I’m not really a broccoli and beef person, but the brown sauce thy use with the “Broccoli Plate with Beef” is super delicious, as well. I was told that all of their sauces are made from scratch. In addition to the amazing food, the owner and staff are also very nice and friendly. This is my go to place when I want some good Chinese food! If you’re in Grand Prairie, there’s no excuse not to try it out! If you’re in Dallas, Arlington, Irving, Duncanville, Cedar Hill or Mansfield and you’re wanting to try something new, it’s definitely worth the drive!

Our food was handed to us below room temperature, stiff/hard and limp. So I asked could they remake it fresh to order, I was told by the very nice cashier Yas that the cook refused to fix our food correctly. I was also denied a refund.The pictures are what we DID NOT EAT! So I spent almost $40.00 for hardened, cold, dry fast food garbage and an apology for it being trash. For me that is completely inexcusable. People work too hard for their money for it to be wasted in such a manner. I was told this location was 30 years old. But I can assure you, if this type of service isn’t corrected they won’t withstand another year. This is the first time in history that I wished I went to McDonald’s instead. I hate McDonald’s but at least they’re consistently mediocre. But growing up eating Captain D’s, I just expected way better than this location provided. But I will say the cashier was polite, friendly and seemed remorseful. The cook however, was the issue. As a previous restaurant cook, I know the quality of that plate was poor. I know it was sitting under the light for over 30 minutes. Which is disappointing. That lets me know that cook has no pride in the overall food production and that is disappointing. I won’t be back and because of my experience I would advise anyone else looking for a quick meal to not visit this location . I would hate for you to waste your food as well. When we did go we would go through the drive through and the service was not very good. We started going inside to order, sometimes to go and sometimes to eat there. The tenders weren’t as fresh as they normally are and the fries were cold. It was about an hour to closing, but I still expected the food to be fresh. I had tried to go inside the store, because I had a somewhat large order, but the doors were locked. I understand that tech issues happen, but when I received my receipt, I noticed that quite a few customizations were wrong. It was close anyways (heavy sauce when I didn’t request it, upsize on fries when not requested and incorrect quantity of extra sauces/dry seasoning packets), so I didn’t say anything. One other thing I’ve noticed about this location, is that it’s very dark and always appears to be closed at night when driving past on the service road. There are a few parking lot post lights that are off and most of the exterior lights on the building are off, as well. The main sign that contains Golden Chick and other businesses is not lit up at night. This location has had these issues for over a year now and I assumed management would’ve noticed and addressed these by now.
