I don’t bowl there because I’m a very competitive bowler and it is just not the kind of place you go to if you’re looking to work on your game and just bowl for hours. I felt things started to go downhill after COVID, but that’s the way of the world. Again, it is what it is. What I can’t accept is the way things have gone into an absolute tailspin since they switched up their menu a few months ago. WHY?? Not only is everything way more expensive but the quality is atrocious. From a business perspective I can’t even begin to understand how the margins are better on these inflated large plates than they were on tacos and burrito bowls. The new stuff coming out of the kitchen is just bad. I love salt but I was almost transported to another lifetime by the amount of salt going into some of these dishes. Presumably because that’s the only way to get them to taste like anything. Also, why on earth would you get rid of the queso dip when you’re still selling the tots that they used to go with? Again seems like selling an $8 cup of cheese would be highly profitable. The menu is all over the place and completely uninspired. My guess is they don’t have anyone in the kitchen who really knows how to cook so they tried to dumb things down? Personally, I’ve never had problems with the service and these three stars really are for them as I think they do a great job and always have. But I seriously question whoever is making decisions about what’s coming out of the kitchen. We used to go there 1-2x a month but now it’s maybe once every few months. If they want to serve this level of food and charge lower prices, fine it would be totally palatable. But for what they are charging it’s criminal. Still a great place to go for just drinks or if you want to bowl purely for fun.
