I saw people who were waiting just seat themselves eventually at a dirty booth after standing a while. Our order was very small and it took ages to come out. We didn’t time it but at one point there were six tables without food most had come in before us. Our server was not friendly at all, didn’t seem to want to make eye contact or talk over the menus. She even forgot to take my husband’s drink order so I just said aloud “oh! Didn’t you want a sweet tea?” And she went and got it, set it down without a word. My friend and I were ordering food and my friend requested the senior meal. Cherry/Sherry responds with “oh honey she’s not old enough for that”- referring to me, BUT my friend is indeed old enough. So Cherry/Sherry had to give her the meal and for some reason that pissed her off. 😂 Like Capt D’s is still going to pay you minimal wage, but you acting like your salary is affected for giving someone a senior discount. Do better- and whoever is her boss, please give her a customer service refresher and let her know it’s not that serious.

I was totally impressed with this place. The decor is very cute inside. They do have a drive up window. They have some unique pizza toppings. I got a gyro pizza. It was so good. They do also have hot subs, gyros, pasta, soup and salds with desserts. This is definitely a place you need to try if you are in the Waycross area. I wish we had a pizza place this good in Folkston.
