During my trip to Rajkot on 28th May 2025, I had the pleasure of dining at Adingo – The Temple of Taste, located at Subhash Road, Limda Chowk, Near Sadar, Rajkot, Gujarat 360002. This vegetarian restaurant offers a delightful culinary experience that lives up to its name.

Disappointing Experience. Do not recommend. Ordered food on train via ixigo application, we ordered dal fry and jeera rice and they gave us gujarati dal and plain rice. The dal was flavourless and the pickeles (aachar) they gave us was also spoiled and tasted bad.
What a scheme to play on consumers, we ordered on train and dont give them what they ask for and just hand over anything that is convenient. Anyway who are they gonna complain to anyways.

Pathetic food. The place is not easy to find.
They have changed the entry and kept it from a building gate which even the local people around there don’t know. The restaurant is probably in a hotel and literally no one was there in the hotel or the restaurant when we visited. It looked like a haunted place.
The food was not good at all. They have punjabi menu. The masala papad we ordered was extremely salty and the paneer sabji we ordered had no salt in it. The roti was bad and the main thing, chaas was just water!! Imagine you’re in Gujarat and you get such chaas!
There were QR codes available for payment they weren’t working.

The lady (owner, I suppose) is one of her kind. Seldom get to meet such people.
We had gone there for a movie and had to rush for our train back to Mumbai immediately after the movie. So, we requested her to keep the Parathas ready so that we can eat them and rush to the station. She immediately said yes.
We ordered coke and she dint even take the money for it. Give it while you pay for the parathas, she said.
