Unfortunately there was some kind of fund raising event going on that we weren’t informed about so the restaurant was completely packed and very loud. Absolutely no problem with people raising money for good causes but we would have picked another venue to have a quiet birthday meal, had we been warned beforehand. That being said, the service was still fine, although the mains took a long time to come out, but the food was excellent. We had the Tempura Pork Belly and the Goats Cheese and Beetroot tart to start, both were very good. For mains my father had the lamb shank which he very much enjoyed. My partner had the duck breast on the bed of noodles which, although looked rather bland in its presentation, I’m assured was delicious. I went for the Sirloin steak which was cooked the way I wanted and very generously portioned and was served with a superb peppercorn sauce. My favourite part of the meal though was undoubtedly the dessert! The Belgian waffle with ice cream was amazing, can’t recommend it highly enough. Good food and reasonably priced. We will certainly visit again but hopefully on a quieter evening.

My mother - a specialist in making prawn cocktail as a starter for family feasts rated the prawn cocktail the best she had ever had… For the wine I was welcomed to taste samples to choose from. The first red on the menu - 19Cabernet Merlot - wasn’t great (one to take off the menu in my opinion) so we chose the ‘21 Antiguo Fuerte Malbec Mendoza’ from Argentina. Complex tasty wine - a good accompaniment for the red wine. Dishes ranged from Tempura Pork - a ‘sweet and sour pork balls’ style dish with a spicy kick. Delish. The steaks were perfectly cooked, the fish tasted fresh and delicious and desserts were well received. Overall a super place to wine and dine with family and friends and service was comforting and fast despite the fact that the restaurant was full with a 30 yr birthday party celebration going on with a table of about 50 people!!! Its great to be able to go to a restaurant and not be limited to vegan options. This is a solid 5 star restaurant bordering on 6 stars. I would definitely recommend a visit here but make sure to book a table if coming at peak times or sunny days.

I prove it's not a click and drag feature but because of this I lost out on about £60 from the winning number meaning I didn't have enough in the terminal to place a repeat bet which then coincidentally started winning, so the way I play I would have been up about £100 on my original stake money if not more but all I got offered was a complimentary voucher valid for 48hrs, but as I was leaving anyway I didn't take it. I wasn't actually told how much it would be but apparently it is on my account should I return in the next 48hrs and hope it will be at least £100 but don't expect it to be over £10. Extremely disappointed.

Located on the main road through Leigh-on-Sea. Nice Italian/English (mostly Italian) restaurant. Not a huge place and the tables inside are a bit tightly packed but thankfully we went after the lunch time rush so were able to get a table inside because it was so hot outside, they do have seats outside on a balcony along the front though. Really beautiful look to the place, modern with a Mediterranean feel.We didn't stay to eat but the menu did look very enticing. Service was very welcoming, inviting and friendly, thanks to the young lady working the bar, she was very helpful. Drinks choice was good at reasonable prices. If we get chance to visit Leigh-on-Sea again I'd definitely like to try the food there.

I felt robbed to be honest, it was late, only by 10 mins though and it was a Friday night. They were pretty stingy portions particularly the £4 kids meal considering it was our first (last) time ordering. The food quality overall was pretty poor, the mixed kebab we received was like confused chow main, it was covered in sauce, this wasnt mentioned at all on the menu and honestly resembled chunky dog food. Chips were burnt and hard and the chicken burger looked like it had been fried several times, so we tried calling 15 times! and no one answered. Really wish we had read the reviews as this is mentioned ALOT. Usually we would give anything a second go as we all have our bad days, however I wouldn't be willing to risk wasting so much money!! again, it's SO EXPENSIVE!! for what it is especially considering it's like most other kebab shops at best. We will stick to our usual JUST KEBAB great quality produce, great price, amazing Turkish bread, cooked on a coal bed, no grease they answer the phone and are always happy to help!
