The Danish was very very good! PICK UP DAY: the cake was in the refrigerator and it was beautiful. I was anxious to taste it. It was boxed with care with instructions on how to carry it, where not to put it during transport. Went to the venue with the cake. Had dinner, cake was brought out and it was a big hit! They truly went all out w the cutesy pink decor, the vibes are immaculate, and the service is great as well! We went around 12 on a Saturday and the line went to the door but moved very quickly. When we ordered, they grabbed our baked goods immediately and got a buzzer for our drinks (took maybe 5 min for those, and honestly I'm glad they do this bc the order area can be a little tight). This is now the only bakery in Tucson that can accommodate people with food allergies. The baked goods are out of this world delicious, and you literally can't tell it's vegan or has been modified for a food allergy. I'm not a vegan but I have vegan friends, and I've tried to make a vegan cake and no just no it turned out horribly from texture to taste. I don't know what sort of magic goes on in the kitchen but the taste of everything in this bakery is wonderful and the texture is perfect. I have tricked people by making them take a bite of a baked good and later telling them it was vegan, and they are always surprised. I'm so happy this bakery exists my only wish is that it was closer to my home and not a 45 to an hour drive away depending on traffic.

I stopped at this one and decided to sit down and eat. Oh goodness was that bread TOUGH. I couldn’t eat my sandwich like a sandwich. They had different menu items that all were served with different breads and their bread was tough. The Grilled Salmon and Rice Noodle salad was easily the best salad I've ever had in my adult life. The salmon was the best tasting salmon I've ever eaten outside of rural Alaska (when I would catch them fresh and eat them the same day) I could not believe the salmon was this good out in the desert! They accommodated our 20 person group with a one day warning. The staff recognized one of our members that came a few days before. The Jamaica lemonade was too sour for my taste (and not sweet enough to balance that sourness). The queso fundido was very greasy and heavy, but if you share it and just eat one taco, it was pretty good. The cheesy is nice and crisped against the pan, with lots of mushrooms and a tiny bit of stewed beef chunks. The hamachi special was fantastic. Beautiful hotel, lots of history, the room was very nice and felt like it fit the atmosphere without being outdated and uncomfortable. We stayed in one of the haunted rooms and hoped to have a potential paranormal experience but I don’t blame the ghosts for not coming out given we didn’t sleep all night with all the noise. We were not above the club but there was outside music going until 2 AM and the DJ just seemed to keep getting louder, bring melatonin and ear buds if you plan on sleeping at all. It didn’t matter how loud that music was though because our neighbors next to our room were drunk the entirety of our trip, slamming doors, yelling in the hallways and playing their own music at ALL hours. I loved the hotel as a whole but it felt like they were trying too hard to be a party hub that they didn’t focus enough on their guests. Their website warns a lot about rooms above their club but not enough about just how loud the hotel is as a whole.

You might find a handful of these clowns here in these reviews. I can't fathom what his issue was, maybe this guy doesn't have taste buds. Perhaps the woman who makes his phone calls and travels with him was feeling inadequate in Sydney's presence and this is what precipitated what could only be described as bordering on an act of slander against a business and its owner, both of which are obviously jewels of their community. So, I thought, "what can *I* do?" Well, for starters, I can buy a lot of pie and decide how good it is for myself. So, I planned a visit. From the moment I walked in, I was received incredibly warmly by Sydney and her wonderful, enthusiastic staff, even though someone else was being assisted in that moment. Seven words that will take you a long way when entering *any* business are, "take your time, I'm happy to wait." I looked everywhere for the hostile individual described in some of these reviews, but was ultimately unable to find her. Sydney is a peach (AND she makes the best peach pie you'll find). Almost as sweet as her pies, I don't know that I've ever met anyone who was immediately so cool to me. I might've enjoyed a little verbal abuse with my desserts, too, but alas... I had to wait until getting back to my wife. I digress. When it was my turn, I grabbed 10 different slices and a whole Dutch Apple (which my dad says is maybe the best pie he's ever had in his 81 years) and also picked up a t-shirt that I'm definitely gonna wear everywhere. I don't know if banana cream or vanilla almond cream or the aforementioned peach is my favorite so far (my wife was especially partial to the sweet potato), but whatever pie you like, I'm confident you'll find it and convinced you'll love it. If you're in or near Tucson, go and meet Sydney and her staff and try the pie for yourself. Even if you're not, find an excuse to go. You definitely won't be disappointed. I can't wait to visit again (and again and again).

My husband and I rock climb at the gym down the way and one afternoon we decided to pop in after I saw a Tik Tok video that the owner had posted. I feel like we are reputable reviewers because we spent $50 in various desserts here and each one was absolutely delicious. We got a coconut cream pie, cherry pie, two Dutch apples, a key lime, a pumpkin pie, a boo-fetti cupcake (I think that’s what it was called) and a carrot cake. I have zero complaints. The key lime and carrot cake I want to highlight though because the key lime was made in a way I had never had before (which the employee working made sure to let us know that 😉) and oh my goodness it was a game changer. Beautiful flavors and a texture to die for. My husband had the carrot cake and I stole a few bites and I’m not sure we’ll ever be able to eat another piece of carrot cake because it just won’t be as good. We are very much looking forward to going back and enjoying some of the drinks on the menu and of course, more cake and pies.

I got the Simple Breakfast with a chorizo patty. The chorizo patty was good. Everything else was fine but severely lacking seasoning. I usually take any leftovers with me, but I didn't get a box because there was honestly nothing that I wanted to eat more of later. Nothing was bad or cooked poorly, it was just mostly flavorless, and condiments can only do so much. The service was good, not great. The restaurant itself is cute and cozy.
