I’m from the area and have been to JB’s next door several times for years. I walked in no expectations but it didn’t take long before I was super disappointed. The service from Jose was awful. It felt rushed and the entire service his tone was condescending. His manager (woman with curly hair) took away our full appetizers that and didn’t care to ask what was wrong with the sour burrata and soggy calamari. The entrees I will say were amazing but I don’t like anything smoked so I asked for the Demi glaze on the side. The filet mignon came drenched in the sauce and I had to wait another 20 min before Jose came back to the table. Another 20 min later the food came out and was actually quite delicious. I would like to say that I’d be open to returning for another delicious filet mignon with NO SMOKED DEMI GLAZE and charred asparagus but the service was bad enough for me to refrain. It was a slow semi rainy night and there was no reason for the awful service or bad attitudes from Jose and his manager. Food runners were all nice but that’s where it ends I suppose. Also the dulce de leche cremé brûlée would have been great if it wasn’t piled to the ceiling with sea salt.

This is the kind of neighbirhood place you want to like. We live in the area and stop in because everything looks so amazing. However, I have had consistently iffy experiences here. The last time has put me off of this place permanently. We came in and purchased a few things including a smoked fish dip that my son loves. He brought it to school the next day for lunch and noticed it looked "off". So he checked the expiration date and it had been expired for 5+ days. He called me and I called the store. I told the manager what had happened and she was nice and pleasant. She offered to replace it. A couple of hours (3-4) later we came in to swap out the dip. The problem was that even hours later the shelf was still full of expired product. Nobody had done anything about it. Being nosey we checked some of the other types of dips on the wall- also expired. When we brought it to the customer service reps attention we got a Luke warm reaction. He seemed annoyed when my son and I cleared the shelf to bring him the expired dips. I am bummed but we won't be back. If you are going to buy product here- Check your lables people!!

My husband and I didn't even keep the top layer for our one year anniversary because it was so good! lol (We just plan on ordering a small cake from her for that day).
