It was the best out of the lot, however it was crap by south East Asian standards. The crap meal came to over 1800 pesos which is plain highway robbery. Apart from us, there were only another bunch of poor suckers, being some American tourists. And to top it off, the men's bathroom was disgusting. Truly a shocking experience, I wish I was making this up. Avoid it like the plague!

It's nestled and hidden like a gem among the bustling commercial area of Angeles City. You can feel a sense of home once you climb up the stairs and instantly feel the coziness of the place. We're lucky to be able to have no waiting time during lunch and was seated right at arrival (15pax). Reservations are advised as they can only accommodate a few people. The cuisine is as expected to be Filipino and highlighting Pampanga's star dishes which are cooked with a twist - such as the Macadamia Kare Kare. And also a fusion from other Asian cuisine like the Salted Egg crispy fried chicken which I loved the most. I only gave 4 stars because the Kare Kare meat was cooked really hard that I spat it out when I got tired of chewing it for long and difficult to swallow. Other food we ordered were delicious and maybe I could advise for the others to mix their order with some soup & veggies to balance your palate from so much oily dishes. Service was impeccable and though I forgot to ask the man's name who served us, he was so quick to accommodate us and respond to our requests. Unfortunately, the service has went way down. Waitress had problems understanding “with the meal” when I ordered milk to be served with the meal. We got served our meal and she forgot to bring the milk. When I asked for the milk, she went back and brought me milk with ice in it, which I did not ask for. She brought back a glass of fresh milk and it tasted perfect although she forgot to bring the Tabasco as we had requested. I am guessing she made five trips back-and-forth to bring stuff we had requested at the beginning of the meal, but forgot. The English muffins that was served with our breakfast was absolutely great. Best I’ve ever had, but the hashbrowns were absolutely soaked in oil to the point of almost being inedible. (See photo). This is our second time visiting this restaurant. Our first was 6 months ago, and we were hoping there are now at least a few improvements made since. The server was quick to hand the menu, but did so by putting down the menus on the table as if the last thing he'd rather do was work in this wretched, sorry excuse of an establishment.
