Meanwhile, the sinigang na salmon brought balance to the meal. The broth was tangy and refreshing, with just the right sourness to cut through the richness of the pata.

Poor service. I asked for coffee multiple times and it was after I ate my meal when they finally serve it. It took 30-45 minutes before order was served. They are not ready for big groups. From our experience, just this Jan 06, 2023, and as a first timer in this place, i'm totally amazed of the hidden place. I was wondrin where the entrance is at first, for upon arrival we only saw this big sign and a parking lot. Their entrance is a bit small at the right side of the parking. It's a garden walk way heading to their main resto. Since you can still feel the essence of Christmas in the place there are still decors that lights up and add beauty in their resto. Service improved already compared to previous experience of one of our companion, they're much faster now when it comes to serving orders. Foods served taste great! And compared to some resto i've been in, their price is much cheaper and affordable. We'll be sure to come back again some time. Kudos!

This is your typical filipino casual restaurant. I like the food especially the Crispy Kare Kare. The place is okay, spacious and there is a Air Conditioned area. Service, in fairness they gave us a heads up 45 minutes for service time yet the servers needs a lot pf follow up for simple request asking for extra utensils. If you like seafood and filipino dishes and time is not an issue I recommend to try it here.

For 1300+ ganiyan lang kakonti yung seafood platter and it’s not fresh pa. Meat nung crab soggy, yung tilapia steamed despite saying na inihaw dapat siya, yung rellenong crab may harina (extender). We went here for my sister-in-law's small birthday gathering. We called in for reservation and an advanced order so we dont have to wait for a long time for the food. After we arrived, we were escorted to our table that was already prepared for us. They also noticed we have brought along kids so they offered high chairs for them.
The food was brought to us within 10mins of us arriving. They kept on asking if we need anything else. They also provided a free birthday song and dance for the celebrant.
Overall, the service was great, the food was good and the atmosphere 👌.

We used to frequent this restaurant when visiting / living with relatives near Batangas City many many years ago. We would come here for the ceviche (kilawin tanigue) and their various fish sinigang dishes.
It’s nice that they’ve managed to maintain the food quality. They’ve also expanded the restaurant converted it into function room/resto.
You might find the food quite pricey for its carinderia-style & atmosphere, but serving is good for 2-3 persons.
It’s nice to be back and and of course having their kilawin brought back memories of dining with dear relatives. Oh how we’ve missed it!
This time, they offered a new dish Ginataang Igat (eel) and its really tasty though as expected, the fish was extra matinik. Eel naturally are bony & you gotta be patient 🤣 sort of made me regret & hoped we just went for the usual fish sinigang that we would order way back.
We also ordered tortang talong and we really enjoyed it, we even ordered extra to go lol.
Overall we liked going back here after so many years & knowing it will take a while before we could eat here again.
It’s worth trying if you’re looking for good comfort home-cooked meal.👌

Giving 2 stars because of one incredibly rude staff. I wasn't even 3 minutes inside the washroom when somebody knocked. Upon exiting, I saw that it was a staff cos she was wearing an apron and she had this irritated look on her face. I don't know what her problem was but that was very unprofessional of her.
The place was bright and modern, think zen style, wood accents and glass walls. There was also a vast outdoor seating with good amount of plants. Eventhough the place looks relaxing, it was not. It was so loud inside, it felt like the blender was just right beside us. The music didn't do much and just added to the noise. We can barely hear each other inside.
Food was hit or miss. Their take on Baked Mac was interesting and it was also okay. The Tuna Pesto on the otherhand, was a huge let down. It was a plain linguine pesto topped with canned tuna, drained and straight from the can. The fries were indeed crispy, because it has a breading. Oh, and the food took 1 hour to arrive and the drinks, around 30 minutes. You have been warned.
I had their Peach Iced Tea and it was nice, not overly sweet. I've also tried their Chocolate Cream, just the right amount of sweetness and chocolate flavor. I did not like their non-dairy whipping cream. Real whipping cream would've been so much better.
The price was okay and they have lots of parking available.
This place didn't give us a nice experience and it still has a long way to go.

Ordered a slice of Mango Biscoff Cheesecake with my usual Truffle Fries. The cheesecake was solid. Slicing with the fork is as smooth as slicing butter. Even the mango bits stayed in tact and did not fall off despite slicing part of them. Those two meals are my go to food, it's not only because of the portion but the quality of the taste, the tenderness and how it really melts in your mouth serves the prices you've paid.
Dear Charlie is also one of the coffee shops that I've seen who is very pet friendly, even the staffs are too happy to see customers bringing their pets and they're giving free puppuchino and even ask the pets name!
And there's more! their drinks are served so fast and the taste's stays the same. it's one of dear Charlie's service that i love, the consistency of food and drinks they serve to each one of their customers!

My compliments to the chef the food is outstanding. Now for the bad news. The staff is clueless we were the only people in the restaurant and they looked quite disappointed that there night of doing nothing was disrupted by customers. The order was mess up and it took a lot of time to come to that conclusion since nobody ever asked us how the food was and if we needed anything. I was drinking beer and had to beg for each one. The staff seemed to be pre occupied with there own agenda. My recommendation would be to give the chef a raise and fire the staff and train a new staff how to operate a restaurant that should be focused on service and up selling customers more food and beer.

After a long day of motorbike riding, we arrived at The Other Place hoping to enjoy a pleasant meal and some rest. Unfortunately, the experience fell well short of expectations.
The food was rather average, and the atmosphere left much to be desired. We were seated in an empty room, which felt uninviting and lacked any warmth or character. While the staff were polite enough, there was little effort made to provide genuine hospitality or customer care.
The most troubling part of our visit occurred when we were preparing to leave. We had parked our motorbikes in the restaurant’s designated parking area, only to find that the owner had blocked our exit with a white pickup truck. Despite clearly seeing us struggle to maneuver our bikes, the owner simply watched from the window without offering any assistance.

If you're looking for a nature vibe resort that is affordable you may consider this resort. The place is also instagrammable. They offer various activities other than swimming. They have Go Kart and other sports (volleyball, basketball, badminton and tennis.) There's a Restaurant inside which is affordable too. We only dine for the breakfast buffet that is included on our reservation. Every Sunday instead of plated they serve buffet bfast.
We visited on weekends they have Saturday show at Maria's Restaurant live band from 7am to 10 pm and Fire Dance from 8pm to 8:30pm.
The staff of the resort are nice and friendly.
They also have 3 swimming pools in different locations.
Since this is a farm resort there are some mosquitoes as walk around the area, but the rooms are safe.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

It’s really disappointing because we went there with my family for my cousin’s wedding, and most if not all accommodations were subpar and extremely cheap for the price it was paid for. The atmosphere of the nature is nice, but the house-esque hotels where we actually stayed and slept at weren’t even clean, like the place had thin walls, the heater in the bathroom was broken, there were water stains everywhere in the bathroom, the rooms that included a lot of people looked like military double deckers that didn’t have enough room between each and every bunk bed, and so many more problems that were troublesome yet less relevant in this situation. Something that we found very difficult to work with as well were the staffs, especially the ones in the information desk or like the front desk of the hotel. When we advised them to make up our room and provide new towels for everyone so that when we come back from our cousin’s wedding, we could easily clean ourselves up. By the time we got back, nothing was cleaned up. All they did was they took the trash out and that’s it, so we tried to resolve it with the front desk and request for some new towels and toiletries, but it turns out they have a curfew and close at 9pm. Shouldn’t a front/information desk be open 24 hours so that whenever a guest arrives any time, they can easily assist them?
That’s a brief summary of our experiences in this resort spa. Out of disappointment, I wouldn’t come back here again and would not recommend any of my close friends and family, even other people looking at reviews for this place, to go to it.

I'm a regular here and the staff are just miserable to deal with every time. They make you feel like you're more of a nuisance than a customer. It's the only kfc in walking distance so I have to put up with it.
They rarely have the chicken parts you want. They changed the mashed potato recipe or something and it's terrible now. The place is dingy. And they just let people's leftovers sit there forever. So I never actually dine in.
They force you to order through this machine that's supposed to make ordering faster but it just ends up slowing everything down while people swipe up and down this giant tablet looking for their orders.
Wonder if anyone at the main branch or head office will take a look at this place.

The employees are okay but this branch is understaffed. I take a look at the crew and they obviously look like they don't want to work there. There is a delay in service and it's super not nice to experience especially during lunch time.
Food is great but I would like to highlight that there are foods from the menu that are not available most of the time. Why put it up there if it's not available?
The atmosphere is so dead. It makes me sleepy. There's no music. It makes you not dine in and just eat your food somewhere else.
I sincerely hope anyone from the upper management would look into the wellbeing of the staff and operation of this branch and make it better.
