This is such a cute cottage restaurant! It was very cosy and the staff were really nice and friendly. I ordered a steak which was really beautifully done. The beef soup was delicious too. Perfect with the log-fire! Portion was huge here so if you order the sac-baked veal, we would recommend to share. It was really delicious. Very tender. But there was no way my husband could finish so we doggy-bagged it and made it for lunch for 2 of us the next day. I am not a dessert person but the apple strudel was really nice. Light and fluffy. Again, we would recommend to share between 2 people. Wine was gorgeous as well. This dinner experience was such a beautiful wrap up to my Kranjska Gora holiday. Free parking for hotel guests on site. Location is perfect to walk into town. We were checking out early in the morning before breakfast service started, so the staff very kindly prepared a packed up breakfast for us including fresh orange, fruit, croissant and breakfast rolls. We were a party of 20 celebrating the birthday and were super well accommodated and served for almost 5 hours. No complaints whatsoever despite being a variety of people aging from 13 till 94. They have a sauna that I'd highly recommend booking everyday followed by a dive into the high alpine lake across the street. As an example, we had planned to walk into town for dinner but it was raining and the receptionist offered to use her own car to drive us 5 minutes down the road so we didn't have to get wet.
