Seafeast Fettuccine (7.5/10): One of the plates I would definitely try for once, but wouldn't order it twice. Outside of the occasional A&W meal or Subway, most of my meals are in camp. One of our group from work was leaving and a going away dinner was organized for us here. There was roughly a dozen of us so good sized group for sure. The Chalet is a cozy little resturajnt, they had us in a side room which was nice. The place is clean and nice, not modern but it has an esthetic it's going for and it achieves it. The server we had was very nice. She did a great job. I ordered Halibut fish and chips and they were very good, good batter and nice fish. The chips were nice too, not too thin to be fries just not quite what I'd qualify as chips proper. They did a great job of getting everyone their food around the same time. My friend across from me had a chicken burger and it looked really good, super thick and he said it tasted great. The schnitzel also looked amazing, I was leaning towards getting that myself but I do like fish and chips. The only negative I can say is with their desert. My friend across from me ordered it and he said the cookies tasted like the desert had been made in advance and been sitting in the fridge. So the oreos lost their crispness? Like they were soggy. So that's a shame as they shouldn't pre make a desert that will lose ots quality like that. Other than that, great dinner.

Lots of variety breads, cookies, muffins, scones and my personal favourite, pies! If you're lucky they do have seasonal items like some Christmas tarts and such. They also have some local eggs, micro greens and ice cream, supporting community business. In the colder seasons they also have Exposition Coffee situated inside the shop, great espresso style drinks and teas. Lastly the staff are friendly and kind :)

I got the 3 dishes for 49 dollars. Chicken chowmein, lg serving, s&s boneless pork, lg serving, comes sauce on the side, won ton soup, always decent, a large bowl, fresh broccoli cooked el dente everytime,not over soggy. Perfect. Omg, the prep work and quality. I always thought Golden Star was top of the chains in Terrace for Asian Quisine. Well, both have good dishes imo. But Lucky Garden takes the cake for "Chicken Chowmein." We got way more than we bargained for. It had fresh shredded onions, carrots, scrambed egg, sesame seeds, chopped green onions, chicken and noodles. And who knows what all sauces as well. Golden Star dish is just noodles topped with only chicken. But, not knocking Golden star, they got a dish called "Hong Kong Style Chowmein" that is great. They do have a better "Sweet & Sour Boneless Pork" as well at Golden Star, topped with chunks of onions, peppers and pineapple. Lucky Garden was just the pork and sauce. Oh, and back to the Chicken Chowmein Lucky Garden, you can see some of the onions and such sauteed as well. So along with quality prep and ingridients, you will also see extra cooking steps added to improve quality and flavor. I can go on and on about many more things about each restaurant's menu. The crispness of the tempura was perfect, the wasabi wasn’t over powering like some places have killer hot wasabi. The Dynamite Maki, Mt. Fuji Maki & the Office Maki are a must! The music selection was on point, house music with dim lighting to make you feel like you’re getting an upscale, city-vibe dining experience. Being in a small town there isn’t many cool dining experiences like what The Office Bistro restaurant has to offer. The bar stonework & lighting is beautiful and the servers are amazing. We did end up spending quite a bit but every penny was soo worth it. We loved it so much, we will definitely be back!!

We each ordered a different margarita and the mezcal IMHo was superior. By the time the margaritas came pre diner was right in its heal which was great and super fast. I was expecting a long wait based on the reviews and that was not the case for us. The food was amazing. Fresh. Perfectly seasoned to let the meat and shrimp shine and not overwhelm. The tortillas were homemade and piping hot and perfect. Well Portioned plates. Hot. Great flavor. The sour cream tastes from scratch! The sides were also great and taste from scratch. A nice light slaw. Nice salsa/avacado mix. Our Server was attentive and working hard. She answered all our questions. Did not make us feel rushed and did make us feel welcome and relaxed. Meals came out hot and delicious and while I was not super hungry I ate all of my fajitas. Refried beans added a little flavor but were unimportant to me. Definitely recommend and will return. Also it is a real fine dining experience. Stars off for noise level In atmosphere. One star off on service cause we asked for the check and waited and waited and finally got the server who said we could pay at the cashier. They don’t like to leave the check and make folks feel rushed even though we asked for the check. I think there was a miscommunication hineslry and we didn’t hear to see the cashier. But while not wanting the customer to feel rushed is valid, the opposite is not good either where we are waiting 10 minutes for a check that didn’t come. Maybe the server said that but neither of us heard? Possible. Since this method is a less common practice IMHO please make it clear this is the practice. Overall Minor quibbles. The food is the star and worth it. I think I met both owners working away and happy and pleasant. Do Make reservations. We were at end of tourism season and it was pretty busy on a Saturday night. Amazing gem in this part of the province. Go!

Apparently, they're closing down the restaurant and just keeping the bar open, which, given the wait times I experienced, makes a lot of sense.
