The highlights of my visit being the bar staff's friendliness and the wine selection. I had ordered the smoked old fashioned and it was decent. The wine selection was great though. Upon arrival, I waited outside for almost 20 minutes past opening before the doors were unlocked. That struck me as odd until later noticing I was the only patron until about 6:30 pm. As for the dinner, it left a lot to be improved upon. I ordered the Cher's Steak (medium) and it arrived well-done. Worse, it tasted like it has been soaked in fish oil. Not a single bite tasted like steak, rather fish and salt. The potatoes tasted like salt and onions. No single flavor of creamy, buttery potatoes. Thankfully, the asparagus tasted like asparagus. It was very limp and soggy though. If returning for more business meetings, I may return for wine but would never eat here again. Being the only patron and the food arriving that way showed that zero attention to detail was paid in the kitchen.

I alerted the staff who then got an attitude with me and told me to check their Instagram for updated flavors. So if you want to see updated flavors they are supposedly posted on their Instagram. My favorite here was the salted caramel, the whole ice cream tasted like that and inside was small pieces of chocolate covered caramel bites which were so good! I tried the cinnamon toast ice cream and it was just vanilla ice cream with soggy cinnamon toast crunch in it, if you like soggy cereal then maybe you'll like this. They have an olive oil ice cream had a very creamy texture and was quite good. I'm a fan of lemon so the lemon buttercake was absolutely delicious to me, it was filled with pieces of lemon bars! Like a regular one but I like the flavor of the ice cream to have the pecan or caramel flavor in which this place did not. I also tried the milk & cookies which had a lot of oreos in it, I do wish it was a bit sweeter but other than that it was good. Overall the ice cream is definitely high quality and doesn't melt fast. One of the employees was really nice and helpful and the other employee had an attitude so I'm not sure what you're going to get when you come here! Either way the space is huge with a few tables here and there, it has a peaceful interior and great for some ice cream.

Dined here for lunch on Sunday afternoon after the Oklahoma game meeting with friends who attended from out of town. We are from out of town as well. Very disappointed. We moved midway back, and it didn’t take long for the gnats and flies to follow us. Personally, I would have left, however I was with a group from work. The server was great. I ordered the blackened chicken sandwich. The meat was incredibly dry. The thick toast it comes on was very much overly toasted. The chicken itself was about 1/8 of inch thick. The cheese on both pieces looked melted, however I literally could peel the whole piece of cheese off at once. It was like what you think of when you recall old school cafeteria grill cheese. The fries were okay. They were just basic, and they were very heavy on the black pepper. I did try a crawfish egg roll, as everyone at my table ordered them. They lacked seasoning and were very greasy to me. They all seemed to enjoy them though. I will definitely not return here. I’m not sure how they stay open. It’s no wonder we were the only customers there at 11:45 in the middle of the day. Don’t waste your time here. All of this for $16. They should visit Super Chix in Tupelo and try their blackened chicken sandwich and fries. It is fast food and it is 100 times better! I went to have a late Lunch with my friends and it was amazing. Some friends recommend we try the mozzarella sticks and let me tell you, they are the best mozzarella sticks I ever had. The person that ordered the chicken spaghetti lunch plate didn't share a bite with anyone, so Im guessing it was good, too. 😂 I had the fish plate and it was enough to feed 2 people. The one complaint shared across the entire table was that our food was cold. Fries, fish, veggies, tenders, chicken spaghetti...every bit of it needed to be warmed up. The pork dumplings were also delicious and full of stuffing. Our favorite item was the coconut fried shrimp. We ordered several entrees and loved them all. The beef brisket was unique and flavorful. It would have been nice if the chicken in my gyro was chopped up a bit more. It had large chunks which made it a little difficult to get a nice consistent bite. Wife said the falafels in her gyro were good, but the greasiness was a little to much for her to finish. The cottage fries were delicious and go great with the hummus. It says that the pita points come toasted or fried, but they were pretty flimsy, like it was just warmed. The quality of the pita was good! I have mixed feelings about coming back, but that server definitely needs training.

Their food is (generally) good. There's a few dishes, chicken and waffles being one, that aren't that great. On the other hand, the pulled pork poutine is amazing. However, their waitstaff tend to be very inattentive; leaving glasses unfilled, taking quite a while to come take your order or bring the bill, and just have an overall apathetic attitude about their job. As well, their water almost always tastes soapy, even when a fresh glass is brought out. This place is good for a decent meal without a wait, but not a staple of Oxford, at least yet.
