A friend told me about Smokin Yards, so my wife and I stopped enroute to Breckenridge. What a great find! My wife is not usually a barbeque fan, but she loved her pulled pork with fries. I had the chopped brisket with macaroni and cheese. On both sandwiches, the generous portions of meat were moist but not fatty. The meat had nice but not overpowering smoke. The fries were crisp and well seasoned. My macaroni was warm and creamy. The price for our meal was a bargain. The service was friendly and prompt. The dining room was small, so we're glad we arrived in the front end of the lunch rush. We'll be back!

We had the best seat in the back patio area overlooking the river. They were Super busy, but we didn't have to wait. My husband and I shared the 3 meat 2 side combo, (brisket, pulled pork and half chicken. ) green beans and sweet potatoes fries. We both left full and still had leftovers to bring home. Green beans were amazingly flavorful, and the ice tea was nice and strong the way I like it!. 👍🏻 nothing to complain about except one of the waitresses that came around for trash and refills, had WAY TOO much really strong perfume on. We were under a bit of a time crunch so ordered immediately after being seated and our food was out in a reasonable amount of time. My husband and I both enjoyed the pizza and we also ordered the garlic bread with cheese, which was very good. The server was attentive especially considering the number of tables he seemed to be caring for. I believe we would probably order the thin crust next time because it looked delicious and as much as we loved the mountain style crust, we found ourselves peeling the bulk of the breading off after the first piece and putting it to the side and not eating it. We would definitely return to Beau Jo’s in the future if we are in the area.

I wanted chicken wings. Thought about pizza but decided on chicken wings , stuffed mushrooms , and a yummy cranberry salad when I got there. This venue is in the town that started the gold rush. It has a lot of history and old dwellings. This location is one of my favorites. It has a rustic charm to it that invokes nostalgia, history and a show of old purpose. The food is delicious and pizza is its forte. Their pizzas is the best pizza ever ! I’ve traveled and had pizza all over this country. But now, when I think of pizza , I think of Beau Jo’s bc Beau Jo’s have perfected the art of pizza making and its recipe across the board. All I have to say about their food , is no matter what you get, it’s gonna be delicious and you’ll be happy with everything you choose. The portion of our salad was perfect for 2 also. You can get the wings dry rubbed or with sauces. I ordered the dry rub and it was perfectly cooked. The stuffed mushrooms were served hot and delicious. Our server was sweet, quick , considerate and honest. Never had slow or bad service there. We were seated right away. No waiting. The dining areas are spacious with plenty of seating. No booths just tables and there’s a bar. It’s a place you can take family , colleagues and have meetings at. The atmosphere is casual, friendly and inviting for all ages. You’ll see lots of nostalgic pictures from the past and old art that were once used long ago. An old mining shaft is on display too. The bathrooms are located on the ground level by the stairs and the rest are upstairs. There is also outside dining if you prefer. There are 2 entrances. The front and the back. Depending on your time of arrival , you will have to pay for parking either in the lot facing the highway or on the side of the street by it.

The portions are so massive and they’re really reasonably price each one being less than $20 for how much food you get. Our server Kelly was great. We ordered the lemon poppy pancake, she had us this place is famous for its Benedict’s and I see why. We ordered the blue sky and it was phenomenal, we had the veggie juevos rancheros which tasted surprisingly Texans/SWern, and the lemon poppy seed pancake. Honestly the vibes are good, the food is good and I would recommend you come here

We enjoyed breakfast so much we came back here for lunch. Both far exceeded our expectations. We both had the Sportsman breakfast with a sub of French toast. The cinnamon bread is made in house and was thick, tasty and very filling! Delicious! The hash browns and eggs weren’t greasy and cooked perfectly. Everything for breakfast was great! For lunch, I wanted to try the jalapeño cheddar bread and tried that on my Rueben. Again, perfection! The corned beef was cooked perfectly and the mushrooms I added on complimented the sandwich flavor. The jalapeno cheddar bread alone would be worth returning to this restaurant for. This restaurant gets 5 stars from me. The servers were on point too! Go and try it out. You will be raving about their delicious dishes.

An underwhelming but positive experience here. Our servers were outstanding. They asked about our day and staying conscientious about our food and drinks. A very friendly and positive staff usually makes a great experience and 5 star review. HOWEVER the fajitas I ordered were burnt and lacked flavor in the meat. Disappointed. We also ordered the guacamole burger which was okay but nothing to be excited for. The beef patty was cooked perfectly to temp but tasted bland lacking flavor. And they were all so kind and felt like friends and we actually want to be friends with them irl. On our tour, we immediately fell in love with the spectacular views. Meg and her team made everything so stress free with things like coordinating all our vendors, and bringing us appetizers immediately after the ceremony and dinner immediately after our reception entrance. We had about 70 people at our wedding and our dog! Highly recommend considering this as your venue! The venue coordinator, Jodi, goes above and beyond what I expected from a venue coordinator. Every time I communicated with her she eased my anxieties and never said no to any of our requests. We had been planning for over a year and a half and throughout the entire planning process she was right there to help with anything we needed. Jodi executed my vision perfectly day of without asking me a single question. I did not have to worry about a thing day of as she, Meg and her staff took care of all set up, communication with vendors, timeline management and communication with guest throughout the day. On a day I'd normally feel anxious I felt so calm with Jodi leading everything. Staff at Echo Mountain also helped us clean up after the reception. The vibes of this venue were exactly what we were looking for and proximity to Denver was great for out of town guests. The venue grounds are beautiful. Everything including ceremony, bar and lodge for reception are all right in the same area. You get that ski resort feel that we probably could not afford anywhere else. Chef Haydn's food was incredible, we received so many compliments and positive feedback about all of the food. Meg also drove us up to the top of the mountain for a lift photo which was the perfect little getaway for my new husband and I right after we got married and before we joined cocktail hour with all of our guests. This will always be one of our favorite days of all time and everyone had so much fun!

First and foremost, I can't imagine trying to plan and execute our wedding without Jodi's exceptional experienced assistance. We had two wedding venues in mind and upon touring the two, we loved them somewhat equally. Ultimately, the primary deciding factor behind our choice of Echo Mountain was how much we loved Jodi and knew she would be a great person to get to work with for the most important day of our lives (of course, the breathtaking mountain views and convenient location near Denver didn't hurt either). Jodi and Meg put 110% into helping us, communicating with us, and providing everything else we needed to plan and organize every detail of our special Echo Mountain wedding. All of our guests (and myself) had great experiences with the bar staff and the chef/kitchen staff. They were friendly, talented, and accommodating to different dietary needs. We also loved that it was dog-friendly, they took care of the setup like tables, chairs, etc. for us, the chairlift photos, and how customizable everything was (they were very flexible about how we wanted to set the reception room up, the ceremony layout, decorations, menu options, etc). I could go on forever about how much we LOVED having our wedding at Echo and how thankful we are to the staff for making it such a great day. Highly recommend. What got me and my family is that you could just tell that the employees didn't want to be there. They would ignore guests to do other tasks such as mobile order or cooking bread which is fine but I feel like just a little "Hey I'll be with you in just one moment" could go a long way. We were waiting for about 30-45 minutes in line and when we finally got to the front to order it took an additional 20 ish minutes for them to finish just completing my 4 person family's order- that's excluding actually making the food. My sister really needed to eat as she was dizzy and the staff on duty let her have the sandwich before us paying for it which is the only reason why service is not 1 star for me. Lastly, my sister also went to use the restroom and was walked in on because there was no proper lock- just a keypad that doesn't tell you if someone is inside. The food was good, not worth the wait though. Our visit is making us nervous to visit other Subways in the area or even back in our home state Arizona.

Idaho Springs Safeway is the closest chain supermarket to where I live in Gilpin County, so I pass by Eric's a couple of times a month. I finally made the effort to go there for lunch yesterday. The food was DELICIOUS! I had one of their lunch specials which included sesame tofu w/ white rice and <vegetable> egg rolls. The egg rolls arrived first and were piping hot and super delicious, qty of 2 comes with the lunch special. Then came the sesame tofu - see the perfectly sized lunch portion picture. It had a bit more vinegar and the tofu cubes a bit softer than I'm used to from other restaurants for this dish, but it was still very tasty - I liked the extra tang and the softer texture did not bother me at all! The tofu came on a bed of freshly steamed veggies - they still had a slight crispness to them, so definitely not over steamed. I can't even explain just how fresh the vegetables were - I was pleasantly surprised! There was more of the wonderful sauce "under" the vegetables, so the only thing that came coated in the sauce was the tofu - great presentation and allowed me to mix the veggies in as much or as little sauce as I wanted. White rice is white rice, but it complimented the plate well! Since I only had water to drink, my bill total was under $10!!! The table was very clean, the only issue with the atmosphere was that there must have been chimney smoke back up in the fireplace located in the corner at some point. Lots of black soot on the ceiling and on the brick fireplace surround. It did not smell like smoke in there, so it must have happened a while ago. Some fresh paint for the ceiling and bucket of suds for the brick surround would fix it right up! It didn't bother me, but I would be remiss not to mention it. Great food, friendly host/waiter and all for a great lunch price! You can't go wrong!! Open daily, 11am - 9pm! Thank you for a great meal - I'll be back soon!!

Atmosphere was nice. Menu options were typical Chinese restaurant. We were served, food looked delicious. Chicken was a little unseasoned even tho it was covered in sauce. Only negative comment is they use MSG so if you have an intolerance you could ask for them not to use it otherwise you may be in for an awful experience. Prices were a reasonable for two people.

I started to order a Philly cheese and Nikki was very disappointed and urged me to try their gyros. I agreed and ordered it to go but said I would taste it before I left. She was so exited to be preparing it for me. I did taste it and ate half of it while standing at the cash register. The meats were tender and the pita was perfectly grilled. The Taziki sauce had the perfect amount of cucumber. This sandwich is easily in my top 3 gyros of all time. Just as good as any NY gyros. Kudos to Tony and Nikki!
