We got the hummus as a starter & was impressed. Well blended with red pepper, it led off a good meal. I had the build your burger with chips. My family & I went here a couple of days ago to grab a late lunch/early dinner after a nice hike from the falls. The workers here were phenomenal, our server was David & he was super sweet & very outgoing. As a family of 11 people, oftentimes our orders are messed up or something is missing. But at this place David was super patient with taking everyones' orders, he even checked up on us several times to make sure everyone was good. The food is delicious, from the fried pickles to the apple brown betty, we were all so blessed & happy with our food. We contacted them from basically a blind referral from our venue in Lake Lure and so happy we did. From the beginning, Mark was easy to work with, gave guidance on choices and amounts, went to the venue to plan his set up prior to the event, was always punctual and quick to reply to my Nervous Nelly questions. The day of our event, he ran back and forth setting up the venue and manning his bbq smoker. And the food was so good!!! Many said it was the best pulled pork they’d ever had-including me. The potato salad was delicious and I don’t care for most potato salads, and the Mac and cheese was also a star on the buffet, I think it got hit hardest. Mark and his assistant were efficient and so nice to everyone. Then they stayed to help clean it all up with us. 100% of everything Mark and his crew did was spot on and I’m so glad I picked them for our event. I look forward to visiting the restaurant soon and I highly recommend you reach out to Mark if you need a bbq caterer. I did not think to take pictures unfortunately.

There was a wait about 25 minutes because the restaurant is small. There are chairs and benches to sit outside and wait. Once we got seated it was about 10 minutes and no waitress came over. There was another waitress helping the next table and she noticed I was staring at her. She was not our waitress but happy to take our order. I am not sure what the mix up was, but this waitress that served us was extremely nice and very friendly. The food came out nice and hot and you could tell everything was made cooked to order!!! We got parking near the restraunt they were some handicapped spots.I have a lot of issues with neuropathy in my left leg and stairs make it way worse. The sign said dining downstairs. Every one seemed super busy in a rush not really time to have any conversation. No problem I know about short staffed restraunts both kids work in one. We have a young man he took our drink order and we got an appetizer spinach artichoke dip. It was really good it was all ate. The kids ordered ribeye medium with one side mac and cheese. This is the 1st restaurant that we have been to that you dont get two sides with a steak when you pay that much $. Usally its a salad and then the side of your choice. I got a smash burger and added pimento cheese with fries. I asked if I could get the aoili mayo on the side didnt know if I would like it or not. The kids said the mac and cheese was delicious along with the steak was perfectly cooked. My burger was great I like the fries they were very different but really good. A bug flew in b tea and he asked for a change of drink. The whole meal he never got it I didnt get the side of aoili. We had to stop our waiter if we needed something. He said he forgot and would forget again. I am not way trying to be mean I am just writing about our experience. They were a group leaving and they walked behind of us up the right side of the building. She was on crutches and I just assumed that would be an easier way on me instead of the stairs. I assume many people do not go this way due to it was a uphill ramp with no rails. My son helped me walk up it and at the top boxes littered the walkway. I get yall might not have a lot of handicapped people and I am a lot lucker than most people. If you had someone like the young lady on crutches or in a wheelchair. Do you have an easier way to visit your establishment? I get a lot of people are in a hurry and busy. I would come back again I just hope that the staff is way more friendly and observant. The rooms are always clean and fresh. We were disappointed only in that the pool was not accessible during our stay due to a special cleaning. The 90 degree day called for a cool dip in the water so we hit the river instead. Hanging out at the pool and eating at its Tiki Bar are the primary reasons we love the Geneva though. Its a great place for a brief vacation or longer stay to rest, relax, and rejuvenate less than an hour from home. Some of the rooms are dog friendly so we can bring our beloved pet. The hotel is situated perfectly alongside the Rocky Broad River and is located about halfway between the Chimney Rock main strip and the beach at Lake Lure. We love having everything so close while feeling remote and secluded in a nature setting. We've never had a bad experience. Management is EXCELLENT and hands on. Big chain hotels could take a lesson from Terry, his wife/partner Mo and the rest of the staff. Room remodeled and clean also. Lucky for overnighters, the Geneva Tiki bar is awesome and i think probably the only game in town late night so it was perfect to get amazing drinks and just walk back to my room. Great bartenders and service there as well. Locals also hang out there which is a good sign. I didn't eat unfortunately but food looked/smelled yummy. I will be back for sure!

There was miscommunication about our room number and the check in upgraded us to a bigger room that was pool side at no extra charge. The pool was nice and clean and fenced in. The river behind the hotel was breathtaking. My furbaby had a ball!! The hotel staff were so friendly and accommodating. The room was super clean. The bed was comfortable. We had so much fun sitting outside our room listening to karaoke at the tiki grill and bar. Met some wonderful people. Great neighbors, friendly staff, beautiful area and only a mile from Chimney Rock. We will be taking another trip there soon!!

We loved the river access in the back with perfect swimming spots and deep enough you can jump in from the rocks. Tiki bar and pool made for such a great vibe. Our server was great not only friendly but checking on us the entire time. Housekeeping non existent for a two night stay even though we put out our door hanger for housekeeping. I do understand that first covid then the hurricane must have had a huge economic impact on this hotel but what I saw and experienced could not have declined and decayed in just 4 or 5 years. Too bad, we wanted to support the Inn (no Spa as in the name) even though the town is still devastated but it was so dilapidated , even as the hurricane did no damage to the property , I could never recommend staying here. The lady at the front desk said she would refund us but her manager said nope🤬 so that was $258 out the window 🤬🤬 I'm not sure how often they have guests but our room looked to have been a while since someone was in there. There was at least 20-30 lady bugs, 4 stink bugs, and a baby lizard 😳 the continental breakfast was horrible also👎my advice would be stay in asheville and come up to Lake Lure for the day.

It was easy to make reservations. Ms. Julie was very efficient as other staff. Please note it's pet friendly but you must call ahead for availability. A Continental Breakfast is also included. I like coffee and tea and this Inn had a small coffee maker! Ice machine, a restaurant and bar reasonable prices. The beds were very comfortable, the room was clean this is a very beautiful and excellent place to stay. The grounds are beautiful, front porch has rockers, beautiful scenery. Delicious food, incredible drinks and the best vibes/atmosphere. The food menus for dinner and brunch are extensive with something for everyone including lots of gluten free options, which I so appreciate! You could (and we did!) hang out there for hours. Playing lawn games, sitting by the fire, listening to live music. It was the perfect third space option for spending time outside of our Airbnb throughout the weekend. The place has a very enjoyable vibe with plenty of different outdoor seating. The area seemed like sitting in a garden with covered and non-covered seating, a fire pit burning and live music.
