When her came, it was clearly a grilled chicken breast! When she told the waitress that wasn't what she order, rather than attempting to fix her meal, she just said, "well you orderd the Agave Special, and that is chicken.! Her hash browns were nasty and greasy! Oh yeah, as i was eating my potatoes, i noticed a leaf in them. Was it a bay leaf or an oak leaf. I literally attempted to taste it tomseemif it was a bay leaf... it wasn't, it was a hard oak tree leaf. When i asked her, she said, "oh that's a bay leaf". In fried potatoes, i asked! She simply shrugged her shoulders! Consistency has always been an issue here, but typically the food is decent. Today was a bad day! We did not leave gratuity!

This was worst “Mexican” food I have ever had. My father and I were starving after a long drive and expected better. Our entire plate was cold. Music was blaring the entire time out of what sounded like a busted speaker! Tortillas were microwaved and you could tell because the middle was not even slightly warm and as hot colder the farther you went out also hard. For sure will not be recommending this place to anyone stay away! There are definitely way better options elsewhere. My advice would be to just eat a commercial dinner at this point.

We ordered one carne guisada plate and two plates of something similar to chimichangas but not fried. The food was overall horrible. Best thing there was the cheese dip and salsa. All three of us got diarrhea a few hours later. Will not ever be back.

It came with fresh cut country style fries, a salad(no blue cheese here, but lots of bacon and Ranch! 😁), and cream gravy! They offer brown gravy, but no one on my Christmas card list eats brown gravy on chicken fried steak! The CFS was pretty big, with nice heavy duty country breading and very good! The fries were, well home cut and fried, nuff said! My GF had the Mexican Plate, with a chalupa, a crispy taco, and enchilada, refritos(refried beans), and Mexican rice! The portions were substantial and the food was GOOD! Can't wait to go back!

With that disclaimer out of the way I can confidently say this was some of the worst food I have eaten. There were two choice for local food where I was at and this "Pizza" joint had a 4.3 star rating. How wrong could it go? A pizza shop that sells Mexican, Italian, American and Seafood should have been a warning. Not sure what I was going to get and hedging my bets I ordered some grilled catfish with fries and onion rings as well as a Mexican plate with enchiladas, taco and chalupa. I asked for a soft taco and they gave me a hard one. The chalupa was a small tostada (you would think in TX they would know the difference) and the enchiladas looked like dog food (and tasted like it). I tried to stomach the enchiladas but gave up. I ate the taco with gritted teeth and left the tostada. There were about 10 French fries that were almost soggy and the onion rings were stale tasting. After a very disappointing start with the Mexican food I moved to the grilled catfish. I took a bite and it was decent. However by the third bite I noticed a distinctive pink hue to the meat. Yep, not cooked all the way through. So I put it aside and went to bed hungry. The facility is a shambles. Dirty, lacking maintenance of any kind and the customer service was almost worthy of a no-mention. DO NOT EAT HERE! Get a hot dog at the gas station if you have to eat and there are no other options.

The restaurant exterior is not that impressive; however their pizzas have good reviews on TripAdvisor and Google. So we stopped only to learn that the pizza oven was being repaired. So we ordered from what is an extensive menu of American and TexMex choices as well as a daily lunch special. We had TexMex and it was very good as were the prices. We went on a night when they had three large parties (2 with reserved tables, 1 walk in) so it may not be a fair observation about staffing. Our service was slow but the wait for the food wasn't bad. It actually arrived quicker than we expected given how busy they were. We had multiple servers due to how busy they were and yet no one really checked on us. Food was good overall but a bit bland. The place is nothing fancy but it's clean. I think the owners and staff try hard to serve a good meal in a friendly atmosphere. We may stop in again to see how things are on a more normal night. We ended up at La Bahia because the place we intended on stopping at is closed on Sundays, as our the majority of places to eat there. The waitress was okay when we first got there but service was beyond atrocious. We ordered queso and guac and were given two small salad bowls of chips and when we asked for a refill of the small bowls- apparently she had an issue with it?? Last time I checked- chips came with those items and for 5 people two small salad bowls are not enough. Not sure what the problem was but after our food came (we all ordered something else off menu) our waitress never came back and refused to acknowledge us. Check out at the counter was also an issue- ALL the ladies there need a lesson in customer service and I suspect because we were not "regulars" was a factor in our treatment- which is ridiculous.
