We were seated right away and in an intimate section where their local talent was just setting up his equipment to sing and play guitar. He sang beautifully, reminding us of Bob Dylan. The dessert options were unexpectedly brought out to us on a platter to show us the options, which made it a lot easier to know what to pick. Spoiler alert: they all looked delicious! We were pleased with the lemon curd/ blueberry cheesecake and traditional cheesecake. 10/10 would recommend this spot for its friendly staff and delicious food.

It seemed to be one of the only busier places in the store front area. Simple decor. Nice open bar area (which seems to be the main reason for this establishment). Staff was friendly and quick. A really nice and beautiful restaurant not far from the mountain. Friendly staffs and exceptional service. The appetizer Escargots and Baked Vermont Cheddar were not bad. I also tried the Special Mushroom Truffle Cream Soup which I like a lot. For main course I had the Roasted Long Island Duckling, nice crispy skin but meat was a bit dry. My hubby ordered the New York Sirloin which was okay. We enjoy the venue a lot but overall mediocre food from our dinner experience.

We visited West Dover for our baby moon and picked this inn because it looked clean and was competitively priced. We are so glad we picked this inn! After a short talk with the receptionist about our reason for coming they offered us a free room upgrade! The room was really spacious, had a awesome balcony, and a Jacuzzi. This was just the icing on the cake because even without the upgrade we loved how homey the inn felt. The owner of the inn was hard at work getting the restaurant ready for an event and from our brief conversation you could tell she really wants to make this inn an amazing place to stay. We can't wait to come back and see how this place evolves over time. If you need a place to stay while exploring the area, hiking, or leaf peeping I cannot recommend this place enough. 5 stars!

It had both a juicy part (which I liked) and a low free part which resembled boiled meat which I didn’t like as much but it went well with the sauce. Pork ribs were pretty solid. They didn’t fall off the bone and were not ultra tender but still were above average. Slaw as a side was nice, the mac and cheese was really great, among the best I’ve tried. The potato chips were fine but nothing extraordinary. They also served corn muffins with the meat and they were pretty nice too. Overall it’s a borderline 5 star experience given fairly high prices - not top notch but good enough and the portions are definitely very generous. Maybe a smarter way to order is just ordering one tray for 2 people and adding some more meat instead of ordering two trays. I wouldn’t go there deliberately if the drive takes more than 20 mins but if you are around, it’s a good smoke house to try.

I guess with this: flatbread = pizza. This is a pizza joint/bar. The pool tables from Andirons and then Dover Valley Forger survived! Love that they have gluten free options for those poor unfortunate souls who need it (top pie in pic) but expect to pay NYC prices for the luxury. In fact, overall this place is damn expensive. But I do love that they try to keep it local and they also offer gluten-free crusts (added $6 surcharge??) which is appreciated. This is a 3 star review in most places, but I appreciate that Dover is trying to modernize it's culinary scene and this is a great addition to that effort... and for that: 4 stars.
