We did lunch and the food was very good. We had the fish tacos and fish and chips. Yes, the view comes with an elevated menu price but it's not outrageous. Our server, Adrian, was quick to accommodate our requests and was spot on for knowing when to come to the table to check in on us. Our condo overlooks the restaurant so we see the sunset every night but I can only imagine it would be stunning beachside (and probably very busy) We both had the lunch specials and a drink special but the cost was the same as the menu price. I guess "special" is what they are pushing but at no special price. Regardless we enjoyed our lunch and the friendly, attentive service. There are two parking lots; one is nicely paved with pay parking qr codes and the other next to it is part paved and part gravel. That is the free parking lot. The nicely paved lot is pay but there is a sign stating Lava Lava Beach Club will validate parking. It's just not clear if you pay then see the host/hostess to get reimbursed or if you just don't pay and leave your license plate number. We parked in the free area as it was only a minute walk to the restaurant.

I took my shoes off and had them in the sand which was so lovely! The atmosphere is relaxed and very beach vibe. The service was excellent and so was the food! We had a wonderful selection of yummy cocktails to choose from and our table liked all of them we tried. Live music was a great touch. The portion sizes were nice and we ended up sharing a few different dishes. There is a free parking lot if you want to walk or a pay one which is quite expensive, but give them your plate number and you won’t be charged. I will definitely look forward to going again.

What a disappointment! Pork chop lacked flavor but no worries they added a sauce which wasn’t much improvement to the dish, risotto was way overcooked and no flavor at all just sticky mushy gooey with mushrooms, the best part might’ve just been my broccolini which was cold bc they cooked it and blanched it to serve it. Chicken Parmesan was over cooked and bottom was burnt now worries because it came with a pile or more like a mountain of noodles with very little sauce but tbh the few bites we took just tasted like plain noodle. The Salmon dish was okay nothing impressive, which probably made it the best dish on our tab. There must be no over sight before dishes go out bc this was a true disappointment, sauce and flavor need major improvement on all dishes. I can’t believe we paid $27 for pasta that is terrible. We should have bought pasta from the market across the way and a jar of marinara sauce which would have been less expensive and better tasting. In my opinion this place just needs to close and hopefully something better will take its place. If you want good pasta and gluten free options go to Pueos Osteria in Waikoloa village.

All these recent bad reviews are 100% accurate. Went here for a wedding rehearsal dinner with a large group tonight. Place was basically empty. Not as authentic as i wouldve liked but it was better than another place i tried in Hawaii. I ordered the #6 lunch special, grilled rib, papaya salad, and sticky rice, beef salad, Tom Yum Gai. They definitely missing herbs. The soup had raw tomatoes and celery in it which i thought was weird. The flavors were decent but they used oil to cook the beef instead of broiling the beef and then slicing it. This doesnt seem like a big deal but the oil coats your tongue and masks all the flavor. The food was also lacking lime and lemongrass was nonexistent. With that being said it is a decent place for Thai food considering your options. Give it a try
