The fried chicken was just okay, but below average compared to what you’d expect after reading their reviews. The minced fish, beans and rice, mixed vegetables, and salted beef were all terrible. The vegetables were clearly from a can, the salted beef portion was tiny. It was difficult to find any beef in it at all and overall the food lacked freshness and quality. Parking is limited to two vehicles and the entrance/ exit is tight. It’s a sketchy exit from there with the hill and curve it the road right at their property. The only positive is that the prices are cheap—but it still feels like wasted money. You’re better off spending a little more for great food, better atmosphere, and much better service at Tukka’s. It’s just down the street from Vivine’s Kitchen. Don’t waste your time or appetite at Vivine’s.

Stewed chicken was great. My wife got the oxtail and loved it, but not as much as the potatoe salad that came with each of our meals which was a 10 and would bring us back for more by itself! The location is right on the beach and had inside seating which was a plus for us because the flies are annoying to deal with when eating outside this time of the year. You can't beat the price for the quality of the food you get here. It was our first time in the islands and this place came recommend to us by others who were visiting. A quick turn around and into this very unassuming premise. First impression was why are there doves in a enclosure in the parking lot? Vivine's Kitchen lives up to it's name. You literally walk up to doorway and order from her kitchen! The menu board is not very big but the love that goes into the food is top notch. We quickly received our order (we were the only customers) and off we went to drive to our hotel down the road. The food is mostly deep fried so be forewarned but very tasty. We only got a small sample but it was delicious. The Minced Fish on Rice was really good. Just the right amount of seasoning to let the flavours come through. The Rum Cakes were very moist and yes, had the flavour of rum come through. Yum!! Highly recommend Vivine's Kitchen for a quick snack/meal when travelling around the East End.

I had the Cayman-style beef and it was packed with flavor. It came with creamy macaroni, rice and beans, sweet plantains, and a little salad on the side — everything tasted amazing and the price was very reasonable. I also ordered the conch fritters and they were some of the best I’ve had — super crispy on the outside but tender and tasty inside. The atmosphere is great too — plenty of shady spots to sit, laid-back vibes, and a beautiful ocean view while you eat. Definitely a must-try if you’re in the East End and want authentic Cayman food!

I've had most everything on the menu. It is all good! My favorites are the oxtail or whole fried snapper. This is an outdoor dining experience but it is on the windward side of the island so there is usally an nice breeze. It is not fancy, is clean and has some of the best caribbean food on the island at 1/2 the price of restraunts in town. It is 100% worth the drive.

Loved the thin crust on the pizza. And the warm sauce for the pudding was heavenly. The unfortunate part of the experience was the service. The reviews were correct in saying the food took a long time to come AND the server was quite rude. So even though the food was delicious, I only gave a 3 star due to the bad service, it really left a bad taste in my mouth.

Was our food fresh out of the smoker or freshly made? No. Was everything good? Emphatically yes. We ate there a couple of times and would go back. My wife is gluten free due to celiac and the restaurant was very accommodating with many dishes she could have. This place was cool and refreshing. I love that it had pool tables for entertaining purposes. We orders Chicken Samosas and Mexican lollipop corn (it was just regular grilled corn, though...with parmesan cheese on it). There were both so good that we ordered another. As for entrees, there was blackened salmon with 2 sides, and the presentation was neat, clean, and I almost didn't want to eat it, but it smelled so good. The salmon was well seasoned and so tasty. Kind of a hip bar feel yet kid friendly. They had Soccer playing on the TVs and that was great to watch. Pool table and checkers are available to play. As the other reviewers said, the menu is quite varied with indian, mexican, seafood, burgers, and lots more. Prices are fairly typical for good Cayman restaurants (fairly high, but normal). We spent between 35-40 CAD/ 45-50 USD per person for a food and drinks. I ordered the marinated conch as a main dish (lite eater) and it was very different and tasty. During happy hour the drinks are fairly reasonable. Thumbs up for the mango margarita. Since the menu is so extensive and varied, I am sure we will visit again.
