I am not sure is it the cost of takeaway bag made it more expensive, which is why the rice portion turned out this EXCELLENT size. OutTFstanding! We ordered 7 different types of dumplings which were very good to outstanding, all satisfying and with a nice choice of sauces. Their spicy margarita and tumeric cocktail (Dr's Elixir) were really good and unique. Strong rec on those cocktails and skipping the mains to go all dumplings... which they brought out in courses to our table as they were prepared.

We had the chef’s banquet for lunch and it was superb! 7 courses and we were definitely full afterwards. Everything was beautifully presented and the cocktails were also delicious. Service was polite and unobtrusive. Would highly recommend coming here - great value and a feast for the eyes and stomach!

Stumbled upon this place in Seminyak one quiet afternoon. I ordered the beef rendang with a cocktail and a beer, and everything hit the spot. The rendang was tasty, with just the right portion size. Was offered dessert and succumbed to the chocolate tart - a bit too rich for me and I’m not sure the coffee ice cream worked well with the tart but, it may have been more down to my overindulgence that I was unable to appreciate it.
Even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at that time, the vibe was relaxed and the staff were excellent — friendly, attentive and not overbearing. It felt like a good spot to take a break and enjoy some proper food without any rush.
I’d definitely come back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty meal and chilled atmosphere in Seminyak.

Absolutely love ginger moon ! The food the staff , the ambiance ! I have been coming here for years and I somehow always end up eating here more than once when I’m here . Brought a mate this time who also loved it . She is vegetarian and they have great veggie options . The salt & pepper tofu is one of my favs and the duck pancakes , food is always fresh and full of flavour . It’s a great place for lots of smaller plates to share . A great experience at Fat Bowl and will be going back again! We enjoy sharing small plates and this restaurant was great for that. We had the baked scallops and they were delicious, the honey popcorn shrimp, chicken sate and dynamite roll, and finished with the salmon and snow crab dumplings! The wait staff didn't push us to order everything at once and we were able to take our time and relax with cocktails and then some sangria. Good quality and thoroughly enjoyed our night!

We had the Massaman Lamb shank, duck, scallops starter on the shell, and popcorn shrimp. Quite pleased with everything. This is hands down my favourite restaurant in the area. I have eaten here numerous times over my travels to Bali. It's located quite centrally in the area making it very easy to get to. There are tables inside and out. The staff are always welcoming, the food is always fresh, tasty and well priced and there is always a great vibe. One dish I always go to is the ceasar salad, it is hands down something I look forward to when planning a Bali trip. Tonight for a starter, two mains and two drinks it cost roughly $34aud. I will always recommend fat bowl for couple, families, friends and solo's, in other words, everyone.

Great spot for happy hour! When we arrived at Chandi, we were welcomed with chilled facecloths—a refreshing touch in the Bali heat. We took advantage of their amazing 12 PM - 6 PM happy hour with 2-for-1 cocktails and tried the Pandanus Arak Mandu and the Ginger Lemongrass Mojito—both were very good.
For food, we started with the Indochine Dim Sum, which was delicious but a bit small, so we immediately ordered another. We also had the Rice Cracker Shrimp Balls (3 pieces) and the Amazing Crunchy Tofu Squares—everything lived up to the name except the tofu, which we didn’t find as amazing.
Service was top-notch. When we started waving away a fly, our server quickly brought over a fly fan for the table—such a thoughtful touch. And when we asked for the bill, they noticed we’d only had three drinks and made sure we got our fourth, even packing it in a to-go cup.
Attentive service, great food, and a fantastic happy hour—would definitely return!
UPDATE: Returned for dinner —crab dumplings (too much wrapper vs. crab), honey garlic chicken, roasted salmon, and apple phyllo with vanilla ice cream (too much phyllo). Flavours were good overall, but the balance in textures could be improved. Didn't love our meal as much as the first time, but still good service.

I have tried many restaurants during my 6 days stay at Seminyak I’d honestly say that Chandi is the best Restaurant in Seminyak… why; the restaurant offers the gastronomy experience, the atmosphere and the setting is very calming and pleasant, low music less noise you can enjoy your food and also have a peaceful conversation at the same time. Food is top notch thumbs up to the chef and the service also is matching the high standards of the restaurant, I want to mention Dayu for her attentive service and the welcoming smile. Walking along the strip from Seminyak Square we spotted Chandi... a smart looking place offering Indonesian and pan Asian cuisine.
I am pleased to say it was a great place to stop .... service was prompt .... drinks including cocktails delivered quickly, and once ordered our superb food was delivered with a short while.

Wow what an amazing feast we had today! We had the prawn gyoza, scallop pancakes, beef carpaccio, lobster shrimp pop corn, soft shell crab and tuna on squid ink and sago crisps. Please see the photos below. The photos don’t do the flavours justice! The sauces are paired so perfectly!

Was in the Seminyak area and decided to head here for Lunch based solely on having eaten at a number of the owners restaurants in the past both in Bali and Australia. Not disappointed at all.
Had 3 smaller dishes as Starters and my favourite was the Fish Cakes, but the Betel Leaf Chicken was excellent as well.
The chicken stir fry was lovely and fragrant and enough spicy heat to enjoy.

The fabulous place with a great atmosphere and the food itself was the star of the show 🌟✨️
The flavours were delicate and perfectly balanced. The mie babi charsiu and Nasi campur spesial were excellent ! Portion were very generous. I can highly recommend the Kaya toast as well as the butter coffee. Best hongkong street food I have ever had by some distance. Good meal. Good service. Highly recommend a visit. Make sure you wear loose fitting clothes as you will leave with a full stomach and a huge smile on your face.

Their Hong Kong bbq platter is worth coming here for the pork and duck were juicy and crispy the food is fresh authentic Chinese . It's a nice vibrant Resto with a large outside area as well the place has a relaxed vibe and the staff are awesome their very helpful one of the best Chinese restos I've visited in a long time can't fault there food will be back again

I had an amazing experience at this (Malaysian-)Chinese restaurant! The crispy pork and nasi campur were simply delicious. The flavors were spot on, and the portion sizes were just right. And they also provide that chilli oil thing (shame of those other restos who don't). The waiters were friendly and attentive, and they made sure our dining experience was top-notch.
The dimsum was also a standout - perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. And it's not often you find a great pork resto here tbh, so I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The bathroom was also nice and clean, which is always a plus.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch (love the soft red colored interior and the colorful lampions!) and I can't wait to come back and try more dishes!

Had an amazing dinner at this newly opened Chinese Restaurant.
The design is so eye-catching with the vibrant colors of the lampions on the outside of this restaurant.
They have various menus from chicken to pork. My favorite was their Roasted Chicken and Roasted Duck which was so tender and well-seasoned. I also love their Pao Emas with a buttery filling.
And I love how they serve their Teh O with the unique cup.
Definitely will come back again later.

Avoid at all cost. Horrible “Chinese” restaurant. Overpriced. Menu is outrageously limited. Claims to be owned by a real chinese person from the People’s Republic of China, yet the food is not even passable, let alone of Chinese food quality. Rice was too soft, the staff said she couldn’t replace it since the rice was cooked at the owner’s house. I can’t believe that a Chinese national owning what he/she dares to call “Chinese” restaurant doesn’t even know how to cook rice properly. The stir fried lettuce was too salty. The dumpling skin was too thick and hard. Even after asking them to re-cook it, it’s not salvageable. To top it off, they charge Rp 1,000 for a packet of tissue - this is not a common practice at restaurants in Indonesia. They don’t even serve hot Chinese tea. Truly disappointing experience.
