They could probably convince you to add an appetizer to your water. Anyway, I went with the pork tocino breakfast (because I'm not about to skip protein) and added caramel walnut banana pancakes -- because self-care. The tocino and garlic fried rice were so good I had to tap out before even touching the pancakes, so I boxed them to go. Fast-forward a few hours: I'm ready for my pancake moment. I butter them up, drizzle that caramel sauce, take a bite -- and immediately go, "Wait... why does this taste... meaty?" Just a handful of mains, so dont expect a grand buffet. I liked the bulalo soup, not too greasy and just right. It has salad choices and red ice tea included. Pomelo and peach mini cocktail salad is good. The fruits definitely has a generous portion and it looks and tastes fresh and sweet. I believe there's a handful of choices of desserts like cheesecake (more like mamon), eclair and tiramisu are ok. I didnt like the padthai because it was too dry. They also have breads but a little harder than expected. The main meat is the chuckroll which is the highlight supposwdly but it was 85%fats (or atleast what was served to me). Overall it is ok.

Place has a homey and cozy atmosphere. The quality of food is excellent and consistent. Service is awesome. I highly recommend their Hot Chocolate, Ensaymada and the Pasta + Salad platters (worth it). Love their cakes especially the Sans rival and Mango Benne. Their ensaymada is still the best in my opinion. Their Lemon bar is definitely a must try! On the pricier side but it's understandable considering the quality and serving size. Parking is available at Rockwell business center but may be limited especially during weekdays since there are offices and a med school nearby.
