The staff are very friendly and service is very good. The app makes it very easy to order food and drinks directly to your table. During our visit, we entered one of our meals wrong and one of the waiters came and double checked the allergy (which we didn't have) in order to get the meal correct and inform the chef. The food did take about 20 minutes to arrive but boy was it worth the wait. The drinks offered were very nice although the prices for some simple soft drinks can be a stretch in price I did discover some called house sodas that were excellent. The food was exquisite. The carvery was great and well done. With other food like the burgers and chicken being also too a very high quality. It is very spacious and the facilities are very good too. Definitely a good restaurant to stop by if you're passing by or looking for a nice location for a meal with family, work or friends.

I am always seated really quickly whether I have first booked a table or have no reservations at all. The staff are very attentive but not too overly moddycoddling, giving enough time to choose dishes, whilst not leaving you sitting around feeling frustrated. For today's meal I was greedy and opted for 2 mains; the Thai Green Curry (Vegetarian), and the Chicken and Bacon toasted club sandwich. A very good price at around 12 British pounds for both meals!. Both dishes were delicious. I especially enjoyed the sweet potato in the Green Curry, an addition I'll definitely be adding to my own recipe next time. The Curry was not overly spicy but had a nice moderate kick of fresh chilli. The sandwich was very standard but cooked well and all the ingredients fresh. Overall another great meal at the Queen Inn, my favourite local eat for both value and great service. I have also included in my review pictures of the Sunday Roast. I usually opt for the trio of meats. The food is beautiful and delicious for the price, and for only 1 pound extra you can upgrade to unlimited roasties, gravy, and Yorkshire puds (Which I always do by the way). I leave feeling very satisfied and very gluttonous, but often with a smile on my face :). Thank you and a shout out to lovely Lauren, who's been my waitress a few times now, topped me up on tatas and yorkies, and always with a pleasant smile. Much appreciated Lauren. After eating I'd highly recommend a walk around the local Dartmouth Park RSPB to alleviate any guilt and calories. If visiting the Birmingham, or West Bromwich area I'd highly recommend you try this place. Tasty food and really friendly and welcoming staff. Made sure to check for allergies and gave us the necessary binder. Food was also amazingly portioned, aka big sizes. We were a table of 6 and once seated, the service was good. Good vegan choice on the menu. One of our group is vegan and said the hot dog was really good. My husband booked on line for 6pm on Sunday hoping it would be a little quieter and it was. On arrival the member of staff thought it was a clever idea to try and mock us for requesting on line a possibility of a quieter area. He told us we could sit in the bar area if we wanted to as toby on a Sunday does not have a quieter table! We only made this request due to our autistic child. The roast beef was inedible it was impossible to chew. The gammon was incredibly salty. Roast potatoes were were hard. Nothing other than the mac and cheese had and flavour at all. We thought the carvery area was untidy until I used the toilets, omg I appreciate that Sunday is possibly thier busiest day but that was disgusting. Having worked in this environment for a number of years it is the norm for at least a member of staff to pay passing attention to facilities particularly in some less busy times which this clearly was as at least half the tables in the restaurant were vacant and re-laid. The toilets were fully of discarded nappies, used toilet paper all over the floor including the corridor. It was impossible to find a clean toilet. My Son had not finished eating when we were approached by the server twice to ask if we had finished, I would like to say we were there for an hour from the time we walked in to leaving. I don't think this is excessive and required promoting to leave. I know our bill was just over £75 and is not expensive for three but edible would have been nice. Sorry but would definitely not return or recommend.

Being unable to book the main on site venue I turned to the café and I'm so glad I did. At 10am a big room meal would have been inappropriate and being able to sit outside in the Courtyard Cafe's immaculate courtyard with fresh teas and coffees, so delicious home made cakes and bottles of water on hand was wonderful. My family happily looked at old photos and reminisced while eating and drinking with absolutely no 'hurry ups' whatsoever. The waitress came and did refills and handed round cakes, but we could get whatever we wanted and the cakes were LOVELY. Thank you, Sharon, and your team for taking the stress out of the after funeral for me and your costs were incredibly low compared to what it would have cost in the main venue, although obviously I would have happily paid that.
