I love this place, this place screams comfort food and I’d always come back for more. We came here on a Friday and it was pretty busy, a little bit of a wait but well worth it! Since it was hot outside that day, we sat outside and it was beautiful. Service was excellent! The food was great & very tasty with some unusual twists. The Thani mushroom gravy was so good on my biscuit. The home fries were cooked to perfection with just the right amount of seasoning. Short wait, but we got a table in their raised, covered patio. I had the Greek Tofu Scramble (no issues for us to omit olives) and my friend had their Chipotle Chicken Avocado Sandwich (with a roasted beet salad). My scramble was a heaping plate of cubed organic grilled tofu, spinach with feta and garlic, soft corn tortilla, home fries, and black beans. Definitely filling enough for our lunch! The tofu had a nice flavour and it came with a good amount. We weren't sure what to do with the tortilla, so ended up filling it with black beans and ate them together. Satisfying meal! With the heaviness of some of the food, water was a necessity. My friend enjoyed their sandwich with the avocado and side salad. The only downside was their coffee. When they poured the milk into it, the milk curdled and became undrinkable. Fortunately, our server promptly brought them a fresh mug of coffee and milk, and the refills after that were fine.

However, it was slightly disappointing. Some of the logistical aspects seemed to have the aim of limiting staffing, but in reality, they just served to make the customer experience less efficient. With such long wait times, and no waiting room inside, it would make sense for customers to be able to meander a bit or return to their cars to wait instead of having to stand outside in the cold for upwards of 40 minutes. Food was out quickly and our drinks came quick too. The service just was not good. We couldn’t find our server and I asked two separate people to please get us some to-go cups. After receiving the food I can say it's adequately priced. The portions are large and the quality is top notch. The apple pancakes are a souffle layered with apples, cinnamon crunch, and served with delicious apple syrup. It was massive and I could only finish half of it. The biscuits are made from scratch and huge. The gravy is delicious with a strong taste of sage (which I like). My partner ordered his eggs soft scrambled and they cooked them perfectly. Not everywhere can do a good soft scramble but they nailed it. The mocha with homemade espresso whipped cream was fantastic. The service was great despite being super busy and all of the staff were so incredibly sweet. This will certainly be our new breakfast/brunch spot!

She had two kids Of her own as well. We ordered brunch and the food was great, but the service could’ve been better. I think the waitress was a little overwhelmed. Albeit my husband picked up food to go; we got the manslide like we always do, the fried potatoes were half raw. Some were OK but a majority of it wasn't. My ordered my eggs runny, and it looked under cooked as well had a rubbery texture. The sausage it came with was so spicy, which its never been that spicy before. Whether they have new seasoning I dont know. And our biscuits were dry and hard. I really feel they gave us someone's order they didnt want to remake and its been waiting, or they gave us old biscuits. Ate here for brunch on a Saturday. Chicken fried steak and eggs were great but it was greasy, so was the potatoes it came with. Its not even crisp, its almost like its boiled in oil. It didnt bother us that we couldnt eat it as we arent heavy carb eaters but for what we paid, it was not worth it. The place was not busy but food took about 25 minutes to make. We were worried our parking meter would expire so we took a few bites and ended up packing the food instead. Not only do they have a good cold brew base but they have 3 or 4 variations with different flavored cold foam on top. We went with the vanilla cold foam but there was also a pumpkin cold foam that we will probably try for next time. It’s a beautiful location and they take reservations. Our food was great but our food took forever, where I felt maybe it sat for a bit making it warm hot but not hot hot. We do like the vibe at Bellweather, it’s a place where you can get dressed up a little bit but then completely chill. They had a great classical guitarist who was providing some super mellow tunes, perfect volume. Lighting was great, great mise en scène. We started with the crab cakes, then had them bring out a Caesar salad, then the scallop potatoes which are cut up, razor, thin. I thought the star was the potatoes and the very interesting sauce. Cap off with Pellegrino and mocktail since we don’t drink, super mellow and enjoyable evening. We spent quite a bit of time there and it just slipped by pretty quickly. I took a bite and realized they had sauce, but they were so dry, probably overcooked. I had the bacon avocado cheese burger, which was advertised to have sauce on it, and lots of chopped up avocado. It came dry with 3 little slivers of avocado, so I had to ask for Mayonnaise. My wife had the chicken fried steak no complaints on the steak but she didn't eat the hashbrowns as they were very dry and crunchy. We got desert to go home, no complaints there. The waitress we had was also friendly and for the most part she checked on us regularly considering she had several other tables.

I don't normally slam a restaurant. But there was nothing good about this one. Walked in and the floor was sticky. It was like walking into a movie theater. I should have clued in then. They have two kinds, but she couldn't answer a question about them. Know your food if you work in a restaurant. We ordered the Fisherman's Catch. Didn't have to wait long. Fried food is fried in grease. I understand this, but it should not literally be leaving oil everywhere. But there was nothing good about the meal as a whole, except for the French fries. They were not greasy, and they were tasty. But they're the kind you can pick up in the grocery store in the frozen foods aisle. We packed up our food and left and went somewhere else for our Mother's Day lunch. We contemplated complaining, but we seriously did not want to wait for more greasy food. We will never return to this place and we highly highly do not recommend it. This simple little touch made the experience that much better. The chicken and waffles is a MUST try! The crispy chicken breast on top of the sugar pearl waffles with homemade honey butter. Chef's kiss!!!! The portions were large, the prices were very reasonable for the portion size and great service. It was a delightful experience to start our family Sabbath. We are excited to go back for lunch soon!

Our batista was very friendly and got us sorted quickly with our order. I got a cinnamon roll and my girlfriend got biscuits n gravy, served traditional. It's a small machine, compared to the typical coffee chains, so it takes a bit longer, but it tastes so much better than you can get at a chain. If she ever makes a cookbook of the pastries, I will be first in line to buy it.
