普通に美味しい。Gets busy on Saturdays because it’s right next to the Davis Farmer’s Market. The line moves fairly quickly, so you pay, take a number and the food is brought to your table. Water is self serve. I ordered the pesto crepe and added mushrooms. Salad comes with a balsamic vinaigrette. Food is good, nothing mind-blowing. Nice establishment with generally friendly wait staff. I would visit again.

Everything we ordered was prepared so beautifully, it was like eating a work of art. I loved the ability to walk in off the street and grab a couple seats at the high top, decide what dishes to order, then walk up to the register to place it with the help of the knowledgeable staff.
A fantastic place to get brunch, one of the best in Davis, although it can get busy it is worth the wait.

We stopped by Café Bernardo while in Davis, just looking to grab some coffee. Turns out the place is more suited for breakfast or lunch, but they do serve coffee as well.
The space is nice — plenty of room, calm vibe, both indoor and outdoor seating. But it was super busy, definitely a popular spot with locals. The outdoor area has old-style iron chairs, which may look cute, but I was wearing a dress and my legs were freezing — not the most comfortable seating.
We ordered two cappuccinos and two desserts. The coffee came first — strong, rich, and really good. But the desserts took forever and only arrived after we’d already finished half our drinks. Friendly staff, but very slow service.
Overall, it’s a decent place, but not without its flaws. I’d give it a solid 3 stars — better furniture and quicker service would definitely help.

Dinner was great! We started dinner with a piece of the delicious carrot cake. All three of us really enjoyed our meals. Well u have to wait in a line out the door and around the corner. Only for them to tell you after u have got to the front that they're at capacity and you have to find your own table before they will take your order. So people that havnt waited go and grab all the available tables while you've been patiently waiting, and then try to cut everyone in line because they already have a table. And the restaurant just lets them! There is no sign or anything posted to tell you this.
Then we ordered a carne asada breakfast burito and chilaquiles, and 3 coffees.
They gave me 3 mugs and told me to get my coffee at the coffee station. Which is completely blocked by all the people waiting in line, and when I get over there coffee is empty.
So I tell the counter guy and he brings 3 coffees to my table, all of these coffees are filled with hard floating coffee grounds, like filled!!! So manager comes over and we get 3 new coffees.
But no cream and sugar, wrestled my way back to their coffee bar, cream is out.
Food comes my carne asada breakfast burrito is literally 5 slices of meat and a small amount of black beans a few potatos and then 50 pieced of grilled onions. That's it. Basically onions wrapped in a burrito.
My husband's chilaquiles were tasty but it's was chips sauce and some eggs. A tiny tiny tiny crumble of chorizo?
We will never be back. Don't waste you time

Went there for our anniversary celebration cos it came up first when looking for a diner. The food wasn’t worth the hype. That’s all I can say cos I don’t know want to go into details and ruin it completely. Waitress( she’s got a petite body) who welcomed us and got us a table
was really kind and hardworking but they switched her to a guy, don’t know why. Food is bland, pricey, gave a 25% tip at the counter when I wanted to pay and didn’t get a thank you from the waiter. Honestly one of the best gems I’ve found lately. I just stumbled upon this and wow. They offer sandwiches, coffees, other small cafe items all at a low price point. Their coffees are 3-6$. And sandwiches are all under 10$.
Our server was very polite and friendly. He immediately made us our coffees and hand delivered our meals to us once they were made.
There is indoor and outdoor seating. This is a charming little place to have a brunch date.

This is my favorite business in Davis. I am sad to see that they have reduced the size of their food menu drastically. This is probably the only restaurant in Davis that you can get a meal under $10. It is so full of whit and charm. I never noticed their free library, as well as the books for sale on the wall. They have delicious tea and the avocado toast was simple yet satisfying. The patio is so inviting and there is plenty of space to sit and work indoors as well. They always have local art on display. Please support your local businesses - I would love to see Delta bring their full menu back - I loved the bean stew special they had for awhile.

I visited Delta of Venus while in Davis for a brief work trip and fell in love! It’s a perfect college town coffee shop, complete with shelves of books to borrow or purchase. They made me an impeccable oat milk cappuccino and just look at this yogurt bowl! Their house-made granola is to die for and their selection and preparation of fresh fruits was so thoughtful and wonderful. Based on other reviews, it seems they’ve dramatically reduced their menu in recent months, but I hope they will expand it again in the future. If their yogurt bowl is any indication, I’m sure their other food would be equally amazing!

So now my healthy lunch was swimming in micro plastics. I think the only downside of this was this place were the prices. I feel like they were a little too ridiculously high for what it was. Nonetheless it was still good. He was pushing my POC friends and I out because he wanted us to order and get out so that he could let some other guests come and take our seats. Holy cow this is like Davis’ version of USC’s Dulce breakfast burrito. My friend and I were literally full until 5pm and we got this at 10am.

So this is one of those rare instances where I am not rating based on my own experiences but that of others. This place is a go to destination for almost everyone I know. Most people get the vegetarian breakfast burrito. I personally, for whatever reason, don't like it. And maybe because it's the signature dish my view is skewed. I had the breakfast burrito and I liked the taste; adding the honey adds a bit of sweetness that I thought was unique and a good decision. However, for the price of a $10, it is small. I also do like how tightly packed the burrito is, as it keeps the food held together well so I didn't have any fear of making a mess and having stuff fall out.
Another gripe I have though is how many surcharges there are online. Getting extra tapatio is going to cost $0.25, getting it cut in half is gonna cost more... the list goes on. Wonderful and cozy family-owned cafe. Delicious and reasonably-priced breakfast/brunch/lunch food, as well as espresso drinks and baked goods. Their cakes and samosas both looked phenomenal! Here from out of town and stopped in for some coffee before walking around davis. The bagel was very fresh, well toasted, and they were generous with the cream cheese. The latte was delicious as well. And they delivered each of my items to me in the cafe so I didn't need to get up either time.
They have small medium and large coffee size options, but they don't have skim milk, only 2% or whole when it comes to cow milk. The environment is adorable and they have bar seating looking out the windows or cafe table seats. They have a select number of breakfast items or pastries too.
As I sit it seems they have a number of regular customers and that speaks well to the place to have people consistently returning either for the coffee or the workers. The main barista was training a new employee too and they were doing very well both teaching and learning.

Con: CHRONICALLY understaffed. I don't know why the manager(s?) think it's acceptable to have only one person behind the counter on the regular. Cafe on the outer edge of downtown Davis. There is street parking nearby (free but with a 2 hour limit).
This cafe is small and when we went it was quite hot and one of the lights in the kitchen was glitching which was a little distracting. But overall it's a good place to grab some coffee!
They have some tables and people were sitting and working. We stayed for a bit. They also have a restroom.
The staff was nice. Not much in the way of pastries. But they had a small menu of food. I didn't see anyone order anything so can't speak to it.

Used to order a lot from here. But recently their pancakes got really really bad. I ordered protein powder pancakes. I order the iced mocha and was worried it would be too sweet when they said making it half sweet would reduce the chocolate and espresso but it was SO GOOD and just right in sweetness. I have been trying to hold off on putting a review for this Dutch Bros since I frequent it often as it's just off the freeway and 5 mins from my job. I've been going to it for the past 4 years since starting work in Davis, and it is never consistent. They have a lot of employee turnover since it is mainly students, and it's like they all learn how to make drinks differently. My drink never tastes the same. Some kids are friendlier than others. The line always takes too long if its more than 2 cars in the driveway, and they never do anything to speed it up. Slowest Dutch Bro I've ever been to. This morning was the final push. I've always stopped by about 5:50 am and 99% of the time get the same drink. This time, it came with some chunks of expired milk in it. Unfortunately, I didn't notice until I got to my job, and there was more light. This is disappointing and frustrating as well... I need my coffee, but this Dutch Bros. It just isn't it anymore. Find another one on your wau through the 80.

Ordered on the app, placed an order for a poppyseed toasted bagel with lox which included sea salt, potato chips. My order was an untoasted sesame seed bagel and did not include chips. It was my first time trying Noah's bagels and I ordered some bagels, spread and a coffee. The bagels and the spread options are undeniably great! I can't find a honey smhear anywhere so i appreciated that they had it here. The bagels were yummy, I tried regular bagels and I got the pizza bagel which did not disappoint.
The service is pretty slow, there were a lot of people waiting and it took a little while to get my order, but not slow enough I wouldn't go back.
The management... this is the reason I kind of don't want to go back. Since I was waiting in line all I saw was the manager or owner (not sure which one he was. Early 30s white man, heavy build) being so rude to the employees to the point where I felt uncomfortable.
He kept raising his voice at the employees that the toaster has to "always be filled to full capacity", then he kept telling this employee they "needed gloves on, no excuses why there should be no gloves on", and then continuously micro managing an order from telling them what cutting board to use, changing gloves, checking the status etc.
Mind you yes, wearing gloves and being stocked is important. But the tone, pitch, and the words he was using with the employees would not make me want to work there. It was difficult to watch as a customer I can't imagine how the employees feel.
If you want bagels yes this is a great place, but for me I was disappointed to see the employees get treated that way.

This is one of the biggest Philz I’ve ever been in. I’ve been in four different locations, and this one could be my favorite. Although I was visiting from out of town, I would definitely make this a regular stop for my caffeine addiction. If you have the app, I would suggest ordering ahead then just go in and have a seat and wait till your order is called. They have a small amount of cups for sale, I was hoping they would have some shirts. They did have one dad hat, but it wasn’t my style. Do be mindful that the coffee at Philz is only drip coffee or cold brew. There is no espresso here so if you’re wanting a strong cup of coffee, you may be out of luck. This Starbucks location is consistently disappointing. It appears that they do not understand what extra ice means. My drinks always don’t taste like coffee. Every time I come to this location, my drink is made wrong. I used to work at Starbucks (in 2022), and unless Starbucks has changed its guidelines about how much ice is considered extra ice, it appears that this location’s drinks could be improved. Food is normal. What really peeved me is that they shorted our group one sandwich, and then called us liars when we told them about their error.
The thing is, I would have been significantly less mad if they just said they weren't going to fix it from the get go. Instead, the cashier made it seem like they were going to correct the order and we ended up waiting there an extra 10-15min and when I asked about the one sandwich the manager came out and was like "I filled it myself. There was three" and that was the end of it.
So on top of getting shorted a sandwich, McDonald's stealing like four bucks from me, then calling me liar - they also just had us sit there for no reason.
I'm tired and irritated at the time of this review. We're traveling across California and stopped here cause we wanted something easy.

A typical burger king. The inside is nice and spacious and there usually plenty of parking. Occasionally they have some nice promotions, and recently upgraded with 2 self-order screens.
It's located at the north part of Davis near the Sutter Hospital. The quality is actually pretty good- the few times I was here. The rodeo burgers, the chicken wraps, and burgers were pretty solid. The whopper was excellent and their kids meals are more diverse than McD's.
Drinks were typical, and the fries are above average when fresh.
The staff is nice, and the drive-thru was pretty quick. I think just having a fair expectation of what you'll get at a fast food restaurant. There are high school and college kids that work here and just trying to make ends meet.
And my kids were quite happy with their kids meal, and I just like the chill, quiet vibe inside. I wouldn't be in the area too late at night, but lunch and early dinners are good!! I really think it has better burgers than McD =). Anyways, enjoy!

Went there for lunch had a roast beef sandwich on a bun with Swiss cheese and a bag of chips and a Pepsi-Cola. I was surprised it was quite tasty. Now the drawbacks the music they were playing in there was so loud I don't know how anybody could study or even concentrate and that room. And if you're not a student the prices I kind of high. I sure hope the students get a discount you couldn't eat there every day with those prices.
